definitely recommend 3/24/2012

I came home one night after work to no power. Jeff came out next morning after I called that night. Prompt and on time. Found the problem and went to get the part he needed right away and was fixed same morning. Told me from beginning how much it would cost and there was no extra fees at the end. Great service! more

Outstanding, Timely Assistance 3/4/2012

My wife and I had a total power outage due to a terribly old electrical system at the house we rent. It was a holiday weekend, but Jeff was prompt in his response, thorough in his resolution, and fair in his price. Based on my experience with Jeff and Owens Electric, I see no need to call any other electrician should the need arise. more

Jeff Owens and his company were very efficient and effective and provided great service. He even made some suggestions to fix the problem before he came out to the house. When he did come out to the house, he arrived right on time and explained everything he was doing and why. No extra or additional hidden charges. I would recommend Owens Electric and Solar 100 with an A+ rating! more

Highly recommend their service. 2/1/2012

Everything as promised from design to installation to performance of the system. We just finished our second full year of solar power and received a letter from PG&E stating our system produced more energy than we used the last year. Getting rid of our hot tub did help us too. Am now looking forward to a possible earlier payback. I should also mention that we got started late in the year and Owen's made sure to get the final sign off prior to 12/31 so we could claim the tax credit immediately (even through a touch of rain). more

New Smoke Alarms Installed 11/11/2011

I'd fully recommend Owen's Electric. We've used them numerous times. This time was to install new smoke alarms throughout our house. It was done quickly with no mess left behind. Another great experience working with them. more

Excellent work on solar panel repair 11/5/2011

One of our solar panel inverters blew. Jeff came over to check it out, removed the failed unit, dealt with the Austrian manufacturer, and installed the replacement. While on-site, he noticed significant problems with some of the panels, and worked a hard process with that manufacturer to get warranty replacements. From our point of view, the whole process was painless and very effective. more

Excellent, responsive Saturday service 10/29/2011

I had a small electrical emergency on a Saturday afternoon and was having guests over for dinner, so I needed my lights to work! I called three other electricians before I found Jeff. He was pleasant and totally willing to juggle his day to help me out. He fixed my problem quickly. I will definitely call him for my future electrical needs. more

The best company and experience ever. 8/4/2011

It was a rainy cold night on a Sunday in November and I called this company from the phone book becuase we had a major power outage in my commercial building in Burlingame. The owner, Jeff, showed up within 30 minutes and fixed the problem ASAP. He was truly amazing. I have since had minor issues with the buildings electrical and he always comes by, repairs it quickly and at a great rate. The only problem is, if the job is small, he always fixes it but never wants to be paid. He now works on our home in Hillsborough and I have recommended him to all of our friends for both their homes and commercial buildings. He is the best. more

Timely, conscientuous and capable 7/13/2011

Owens Electric truly believes in long term customer satisfaction. I thought there was a leakage problem with a solar installation they did almost 4 years ago, and they showed up within 48 hours of contacting them. Even though they isolated the problem to another issue on the roof, they put another layer of sealant around the panels just to make sure. I would use them again for any electric requirement on my house. more

Lovely,Competent, and Helpful 6/25/2011

Jeff Owens came to replace a smoke detector that was acting up. He was the nicest guy! Totally knew what he was doing, then replaced all the batteries in our other detectors which was nice. The next day I called about a weird noise coming from our gas heater. He called a bunch of people on our behalf and called back with advice on how to proceed with that. He just really took care of us, we will definitely use him for any future electrical issues. more

Good Solar Expierence 6/24/2011

Mr. Owens and his crew installed our seven Kilowatt solar system in 2005. It worked fine until late 2010. Then sixteen of forty-eight BP solar panels failed. The three Xantrex inverters were not functioning. Mr.Owens persuaded BP Solar to replace the entire system under the warranty without further expense. The new system has been in service now for about two months and works better than original system. We are confident that Owens Electric will be there for us if any more problems occur in future. more
