Can't Go Wrong with the Prime Rib! 5/10/2008

We have eaten at Outback several times and have always ordered one of their steaks. We found the steaks to be of about average quality... HOWEVER, we recently gave their prime rib a try and were favorably impressed. We have tried various cuts and recommend the larger portion...it is absolutely fabulous, but come hungry or plan to share a serving between people. Service is unpredictable and sometimes downright slow and inattentive but that tasty prime rib makes up for it! Pros: Great Prime Rib, opened early for dinner so you can beat the crowds Cons: Get's pretty crowded, service can be a little slow more

West End Outback-very impressed! 7/14/2004

The staff is great! They were very helpful and knowledgeable about their menu items and wine list. The happy hour from 4-7 is a definate plus. Great place to go after work. I reccommend the Alice Springs Chicken with the Sweet Potato. It's the most delicious thing on the menu along with the Victoria's Filet. Get the steaks with light seasoning and cooked medium, and you'll have a tender steak that compares with some of the other well known steak houses in town (for a fraction of the cost!). It's a great place to go with groups for a special occasion, or just to have a blast with your friends. I highly reccommend it! There's even a parking garage under the restaurant with elevators in case it's raining. Pros: Amazing portions, Great parking, Excellent happy hour more

not in the same league 2/4/2003

Out Back is fine for a nice little mass market chain restaurant, but it is not even close to being able to serve a fine quality meal on the level of a Jimmy Kelley's or a Stock Yard. It is deceptive to even rank it in the same survey with those other true steak houses. Pros: quick, cheap, dependable Cons: quick, cheap, mediocre more

Outback??? Out of the question!! 1/13/2003

Outback is way overpriced for what you get. Can not believe people would rank this restaurant ahead of the cities two best restaurants -- Morton's and The Palm. more

great 1/13/2003

I have never had a bad meal at the restaurant on Madisonville Rd. Pros: food, parking Cons: too small, long wait more

A Great Nite Out 12/19/2002

The many times we have dined at Outback, we have experienced great service and even better food. The bloomin onion is great, but the fried 'shrooms are super too, with giant servings, enough for a crowd! The steaks are tender and juicy, with a great tasting marinade. The rack of lamb is killer, too. Pros: Service, Quality of food, variety Cons: lack of parking, pricey more

Ala Carte???....I don't think so! 12/5/2002

The great thing about Outback is that unlike most other restaurant specializing in fresh, delectable steaks is that you won't have to mortgage you house to eat there and that it is not ala carte. Along with every meal you get a side item and all steak entrees also receive choice of soup or salad. I would suggest Victoria's Filet. The most tender item on the menu. You may also request that it be cooked on the open flame as opposed to the flat top grill. While this filet is surprisingly not Filet Mignon you will notice that it has an 3 oz medallion which may or may not add just a little fat to the cut. But where else are you going to get soup/salad, bread, side item, and steak for 16 bucks???? more

blackened excellence 10/7/2002

Their Blackened Prime Rib is THE best that Nashville has to offer. Although most of their menu is ""ala carte"" & a little pricey, I would still rather spend the money knowing that I am getting a superbly cooked meal. Pros: excellence in taste, ambience, excellent menu choice Cons: expensive more

Outback Steak House, NO RULES Damn Right 9/10/2002

Outback Steakhouse (especially the one in Hickory Hollow) is by far the best steak, and the best value for a steak anywhere in Nashville, and the USA. Service and food quality are the greatest of any restaurant I have ever experienced.. I highly recommend trying the Outback Special.. MediumRare.. (or Medium.) It is the best piece of beef you can get in the world.. and for 13 bucks!! If you like your steak well done.. I recommend the ribeye. more

dessertbound 7/30/2002

Outback Steakhouse has the best dessert I have ever had--The Downunder Sundae--I would rather pass up the meal & go straight for the dessert!! I love the combination of vanilla icecream, chocolate, coconut, & strawberry's. This has to be the best dessert around. Pros: reasonably priced, great service, wonderful food more

For Carnivores 7/25/2002

I love my veggies, but every now and then I like a good steak. This place has good ones, but man are they huge! I either take half of mine home or split it with my son. But I really go for the Cinnamon Oblivion. Three of us split it for dessert, and it's heavenly! Pros: Service Cons: Portions more

  • This heart-of-the-city office space in the polished, corporate Bluecross/Blueshield building and offers beautiful views of midtown and downtown. The office space in West End has a prestigious address close to Music Row and Vanderbilt University (a significant employer) in the business district just west of Nashville. Although Nashville is best known for music and tourism, the office's business neighbors also include healthcare organizations, financial services and religious publishing. Nashville is home to the headquarters of several protestant denominations. The office is close to several hotels and plenty of dining and entertainment options.
