I've never been to an outback steakhouse and I was seeing comericals for it for months which had me dying to go and have a nice juicy steak. I took my girl there and we were sat almost immediately by the host. To a dirty table, but the busser was there and cleaned it right off so no worries.\r

The server came and took my drink order, my gf needed some time so we waited for the server to come back, it took several minutes then I got my drink and knowing that she wasn't going to make a pass again anytime soon we quickly ordered our appetizers and entrees. And the server didn't ask if my gf wanted a drink and left before she could order a glass of wine.\r

Our app was the blooming onion, which was really good considering I'm not really big into onions, the sauce went well with it. We finished the sauce and asked for more but didn't get it til the end our meal. When the entrees came my gfs meal was incomplete, I think it was missing asparagus, or broccoli (Dont remember). And she did not look pleased. She asked a different server and a few minutes later it came right out. She had a steak that had blue cheese on it and she said it didn't taste right and looked like it was microwaved. The cheese on the top definitely did look like it was nuked in the microwaved. It melted all across the steak and had a plastic look to it. I had the NY strip, I was surprised when I got it. It didn't even have a nice sear that you expect a steak to have. I was disappointed but, it had a good steak flavor.\r

I was not happy, or mad. My gf wasn't happy, we definitely should have complained to the manager to take her meal off the check, but we just wanted to get out of there. Definitely don't think I will ever go back to an Outback unless its after a hard night of drinking. I'm not interested in having a microwaved steak.\r

Edit: I just saw a picture someone posted of the blue cheese steak, take a look at it. Its disgusting, I fkn love blue cheese especially on a burger and that does not look appetizing.
