My experience with OU Physicians is that I have been a patient there with a private physician. OU Physicians is actually a teaching facility for medical students and residents in OU Medical School. The students are well-supervised, but having a private physician, I don't see them. If there is an instance where my doctor has someone following him that day, he will ask me if it's OK for him to bring the student in, and it is totally my choice. This clinic has many different clinics, and for people who see doctors other than private physicians, they are seen on a sliding scale basis. There is also a "Bedlam Clinic" twice a week where anyone can come and stand in line to get medical help. I have had a couple of doctors that have had there office at this clinic because they are heads of departments and teaching at the school. I've not had problems going to this clinic as a private patient.
