Dr. Howell and his staff are kind, professional, and top notch! My daughter has anxiety and I was really worried about her getting a filling, Dr.Howell and his cute staff made her feel safe, calm and they did her dental work without giving her a shot! What could have been a very stressful experience was a very good experience and she left with a smile on her face! more

We take all of our 3 kids to Dr. Howell's office and we have loved the experience since the very first time. Dr. Howell and his staff go beyond our expectations. My oldest son (age 4) fell and chipped his front tooth, Dr howell did an excelent job putting a porcelain crown for him, the job he did was amazing it even looks like his own tooth. We are very pleased with the overall experience. Dr Howell is not only friendly but very professional, all of his staff is also amazing and very friendly. We take our 3 young children (4 yr old daughter, 3 yr old son and 1 yr old son) to dr. howell, he and his staff are great with them, our daughter has needed several caps on her back teeth due to deep "valleys" making it very difficult for a tooth brush to reach the center of her molers as dr. howell explained. Our 3 yr old son has a rare genetic disorder with many symptoms, one of which includes soft Teeth with low enamel, this has caused a tooth in the front to chip, dr. howell and his staff were all great with him, very patient, kind and understanding, the tooth required a crown, my wife was concerned that the crown would be bright white making a drastic contrast between his low enamel yellowish teeth and the new crown, but this worry was put to rest when The good dr. ensured us he could match the color and sure enough when the procedure was complete the new tooth looked perfect. dr. howell is very kind and he takes the time to explain what needs to be done and offering several options, we were so relieved to hear that the problems with our childrens teeth were'nt caused by us not doing a good job, but were just unavoidable problems with the teeth themselves and dr. howell was great to let us know we are doing a good job with the teeth we have to work with. more

I've really liked Dr. Howell for my children's dentist. Dr. Howell and his assistants go above and beyond to make sure my children are well taken care of... my kids get hand written notes mailed to them, they get a phone call after each procedure to see how they're feeling, I get a letter telling me about how well they did, etc. Yes, he's a little more pricey than I would like to pay, but his procedures are top notch with the latest and greatest equipment. The only downside is that their front desk and billing procedures are a little overkill... I feel like I'm being ravished by vultures for payment. more

Dr. Howell and his staff really go above and beyond your expectations! My 5 year old son went in for a cleaning and it was a fun, kind, caring experience. On his second visit my son went in to get sealants done and Dr. Howell was gentle, kind and caring. I would recommend Orem Pediatric Dentistry to anyone with a child. They really care about the whole experience your child goes through seeing the dentist. My son has been happy with each visit. So have I :) - excellent service more

Excellent service my child got sealants on his teeth. Service from staff was exceptional, they were kind and caring in a fun atmosphere. Dr. Howell really cares about my childs health and well being. I would recommend them to anyone that has a child under age 18 more

Our 4 yr old had a cavity between his front teeth...we were given the option between a $600 crown or extracting his teeth. We debated between the crown and extraction...Dr Howell told us there were no risks or downsides to extracting his teeth. We decided to have his teeth extracted since he'd be losing them in the next year or two anyway and Dr Howell agreed with our decision. Two days later our son developed a severe infection in his gums. Dr Howell asked us to come in three seperate times to check up on our son...each visit lasted 15 min or less. Not once were we told we'd be billed for those visits; we assumed it was part of the cost of extraction. A couple weeks later we were billed $242...each 15 min checkup cost over $80. Our son now has damage to his gums due to the infection. Dr Howell took no accountability or responsibility for the situation. He was also un-apologetic. I asked him to reconsider the $242 bill given the circumstances. He ignored my request and simply sent us a late notice bill. more

Dr. Howell is the WORST dentist I have ever been to. He outright told my daughter to sit down and shut up. I cant believe he is even in business with how poorly he treat children. He told me that they all had terrible teeth and that most needed to be filled. He offers the most expensive treatments and then becomes frustrated when someone disagrees with him. He treats his staff terrible and hurt my kids's feelings, which was so uncalled for. DO NOT GO HERE!!! more
