Ok: here's the thing to understand: the Oklahoma City Art Museum can be neatly divided into two parts, the enormous Chihuly glass collection, and ever more

Great museum at a great deal. I recommend it to anyone looking for an eventful and also educational afternoon in Bricktown. This museum has many great exhibits and is well worth the trip to OKC if you are not an Oklahoma City native. more

I greatly enjoyed all the aspects of the museum. What stood out to me the most was the helpfulness of the employees. They always were able to answer any questions that we had about anything in the museum. more

Art in OKC 3/23/2006

Being an art student at my local highschool, we take plenty of field trips to areas of art to spark our interests. We recently went to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art for the Mexican Master's exibit currently on display. Although being and excellent show, the part most anticipated was the jaw dropping Chihuly glass gallery that simply stuns and amazes. The Oklahoma City Museum of Art has one of the biggest permanent displays of Chihuly glass sculptures that is definately worth my three dollars to see. I highly recommend recommend comming to see this exibit, it is worth the money and the drive downtown. Also within the museum is a permanent modern art gallery, a gift shop, and a cafe. However, if you are planning to go to the cafe, bring a credit card because it's rather expensive. PROS: They have a beautiful Chihuly glass art gallery. CONS: The cafe is rather expensive. more

A Great Expierence 11/2/2005

The Oklahoma City Museum of Art is a wonderful museum to visit. Many times, there are special exhibits and events and it is treat to visit the museum occasionally. I think it is well laid out and I think that they can rival many other museums throughout the country! If you get a chance pay them a visit! more
