I have had a wonderful experience and GREAT meal everytime I visit this place! First and foremost the seafood is fresh and delicious. The place is really clean and kid friendly. The prices are reasonable and the staff has always been super nice! We will be back next summer. It seems like this is the only place around to get a really good seafood meal. more

Great place for family or just two. Food is excellent, and staff is happy and friendly. There's nothing bad about it! There's a great new lunch menu, too. I highly recommend it. There's kids eat free night and there's rib night, and all are great. The food is fresh and delicious, and service is with a smile. There's fresh seafood to take home if you want, and takeout is quick. It's BYOB with setups. Can't beat it! Love the place! Cons: skip kid's night if you'd rather not deal with the kiddies more

We have been to many restaurants at the shore and always end up back at OceanSide Seafood. It's family-oriented - and my husband and I can enjoy our own bottle of wine. The wait-staff is friendly and always smiling. Happy and cheerful servers equal a great dining experience. I am always so sad when they close for the winter season. I crave their crab cakes all year long. They are truly the best ones I have ever had. I highly recommend OceanSide to all my friends and family when they visit the Jersey Shore! Oceanside Seafood is our favorite shore restaurant. We love the relaxed atmosphere, the fact that it?s a BYOB, and that our kids eat FREE on Tuesdays. The servers are always very friendly and provide quick service even when the restaurant is packed. Our favorites are the crab cakes, broiled stuffed shrimp, and the broiled seafood combo. The crab cakes are real crab meat -no filler - and they are delicious! The portions are more than enough - I always have lunch for the next day! Our experiences with take out have always been very positive. Right after the restaurant opened for the season we were at the Golden Inn for ?girlfriend?s weekend? and ordered a bunch of apps. All of the girls raved about the crab claws, steamers, shrimp, and old bay fries. We ordered several times throughout the summer and eight of us ended our season with take out from Oceanside and all of our dinners were outstanding. We stay at the south end of Sea Isle and find it a quick and worthwhile drive to Oceanside in Avalon. Definitely check out Oceanside for mouth watering seafood and fair prices at the beach! WOW!! This place was called Oceandrive Seafood in it's heyday. A move from the OD to Dune drive after a summer off and the quality went from a 10 to a 1. Small portions of food served in takeout containers, high prices and disorganized service and freestyle seating make for an annoyning night. If you like to overpay for frozen shrimp like you get at Sam's Club, then eat here. It is a shell of its former self. Cons: it is not what is pretends to be, a quality seafood resturant more
