Best

worlds of fun is the funniest place i have been to in years! my kids had a blast and i drove to kc from alanta. just to go here. and i would reccamend it any day!(:

Worst

It's ok. My daughter likes it. I guess that's whats important. But I'm not a big fan. It's rather boring to me. The only attractions are really the roller coasters. Which I...

Water rides! 8/14/2005

Oceans of Fun is affilated with Worlds of Fun, and was placed there in the 1980's because Kansas City was lacking a water park for the summer time. Oceans of Fun is much cheaper than Worlds of Fun. You can also buy day passes to both parks, so you can go back and forther between them all day. Lots of water slides, and a few different kinds of pools. Some for smaller children, and some for the big kids with a bar right in the middle of the pool. more

Fun for families. 8/14/2005

Worlds Of Fun has not changed much over the years, but they have added and removed a few rides here and there. It has been a family fun spot for years, and there are varies things to do, other than just ride the roller coasters and other rides they offer there. They also have shows in an outdoor ampitheatre, and indoor theatre where they do "Stacks of Wax." a musical revue of the 1950's and 1960's mucic. more

Worlds Of Fun 8/11/2005

Worlds of fun is a great all day amusement park. There are so many roller coasters and water rides. My favorite roller coasters are the timber wolf and the mamba. It is a little pricey if you don't have a season passport so if you plan on going more than once you should buy a season pass. more

Water Park 8/7/2005

When I would go to Oceans of Fun as a child, I always generally upset. I was too scared of the huge water slides, and everything else was either for very small children, or for adults. It isn't any different now, so if you take your 7-10 year old, make sure they aren't afraid of the water rides, or they will be a little bored. As an adult, the pools are great, because they have bars! Tickets are fairly cheap, I believe under $20. dollars a person. more

Fun to the Max! 8/7/2005

If you love roller coasters, games, and other carnival type rides then this is a great place to come and experience all of that and more. You can purchase a season ticket which is the smarter option because you can come as many times as you want for one price and it pays for itself after only a couple visits. They have rides and games for adults and children here. The whole family will enjoy the park. There are many shops and crafts you can look at and purchase items with the worlds of fun logo or without. This is definitely an all day event so come out early and stay later on the weekends. They have special treats during the holidays in which they are open. Fireworks on the forth of July and a Halloween fest for everyone in the fall. more

Water Water! 8/7/2005

What a great way to spend a hot summer day for not a lot of money. This is a wonderful water park and one of the only ones around that has so much to offer. There are water slides for older children and adults and even a kiddie area specially designed with the younger ones in mind. They also have some adult pools and a huge wave pool for everyone in mind. Grab a season pass and come as much as you want or buy single tickets which can get a little expensive if you tend to come more than 3 times. You can also get a pass to go to Worlds of Fun located next door. more

Fun Fun Fun! 8/5/2005

That's right it's Worlds of Fun at this Amusement Park in Kansas City, MO! They have ever ride you can think of. From the giant roller coaters to the small kid rides. Each section of the park is divided into different countries. They also have live shows and places to eat inside the Park as well. If you want to just have fun, head on over to Worlds of Fun! more

Best amusement park in KC. 8/5/2005

Worlds of Fun is an excellent amusement park, especially for one not backed by a corporate giant. They add at least one major attraction every year, offer several rollercoasters, water rides, classic carnival rides, and have a theme park for children. The park is arranged into sections divided by regions of the world, each with their own unique rides. more

Worlds of Fun 8/2/2005

Worlds of Fun is a slightly more expensive amusement park, but it is generally worth the money if you go on a day where there are not a lot of people waiting in line. The food is also a little bit expensive, but if you go after dark, the admission price is usually cheaper so you can save there. Try the funnel cakes and the mamba! more

Great fun Amusement park 7/27/2005

Worlds of Fun is a cool Amusement park. The prices I feel are reasonable, considering you stay there for the whole day. However food there can be really pricey. I would definitely bring my own lunch. There are a lot of different rides for all age groups. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the high food prices. more

Super Fun 7/13/2005

They have wicked awesome roller coasters in here! The mamba, which is about 200 ft tall! you can't beat that! Well actually you can, but not around Kansas City. They also have a sister park "Oceans of Fun" thats a water park. Worlds of Fun usually gets a new big ride everyyear. It sucks though because the lines are really long sometimes. But oh well. Some people have died on the roller coasters in there but that just adds to the excitement! Besides the rides, there are all kinds of shops where they try to suck even more money from you. Oh well, it works! I love just about everything about that place and I wish I could go every summer! more

Oceans of Fun 7/9/2005

Oceans of Fun is a very good park in the summer, especially when it is hot out. It gets you very wet on all of the great roller coasters and water rides. I have a great time there. Oceans of Fun is not as crowed as Worlds of Fun, but it shares a water ride with it. more

World's of Fun 7/9/2005

World's of Fun is a great theme park for you and your family and friends. It has a lot of thrilling roller coasters. Sometimes it is too crowded. Camp Snoopy is great for kids ages 2-8. I have a great time every time I go to World's of Fun. It is so awesome! more

Ocean's of Fun really is Fun 7/8/2005

Oceans of Fun in Kansas City is right next door to Worlds of Fun. They are similar except that Oceans of Fun is a water park. I haven't been to Oceans of Fun in awhile, but I remember that their lines were a little longer than Worlds of Funs. Most of the rides were pretty good, but there were some that were pointless and boring. I believe that the price for Oceans of Fun is also pretty expensive just like Worlds of Fun. One thing that you could do was buy a pass for both parks in one day, and have fun in both. I give Oceans of Fun four stars instead of five because of the price, and because of some boring rides. more

Worlds of Fun really is fun 7/8/2005

Worlds of Fun in Kansas City is a really fun theme park. During the week the lines never get to long for the fun rides and roller coasters. Some of the roller coasters are the Boomerang which takes you forwards and backwards. The Mamba takes drops you down on a huge drop. The Mamba is my favorite roller coaster. Another roller coaster is the Timber Wolf. Worlds of Fun is great, but the reason it only got four stars is because of the price. It is kind of expensive. Overall Worlds of Fun is a great theme park, and you should really go check it out. more

Wet or Dry 6/22/2005

You can come here and stay the whole day or just for half. You can even switch over to Oceans of Fun if you want to get a little or a lot wet. This is a family friendly place to go. Some things can get a little expensive, but the rides are worth the money you pay to get in and they offer some great shows if you want to rest and cool off inside. Season passes are available too. Concerts are available at World's of Fun on occasion. The 4th of July firework show is beautiful also. more

Used to be good. 6/19/2005

With the latest "additions" they removed all but two of the roller coasters, unless you count the thrill ride the "Boomerang", the park has all but lost the old feel. Leaving nothing but rides designed either for kids or coaster enthusiasts, there is little left for the average family. The cost of the park is very high, and many of the attractions inside cost additional fees which are unreasonable. If you are looking for a good theme park that is somewhat nearby, try looking to Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. more
