Unlike the previous entry, I would not recommend this moving company. I got a lower hourly rate, but I was only moving within the city (a few blocks) and had very few belongings. The place I moved into required going up 3 flights of stairs, but the move took less than 1.5 hours (but paid for 2 full hours because there's a two hour minimum). The movers were on time, relatively efficient, but were hasty, rough with my belongings, and started to grunt and sigh loudly after an hour of work. I found this rude and annoying (not to mention dramatic), as this is their job, and should not be complaining in front of their customer. Unlike the other reviewer, they did not lay out carpets for their dolly and made marks on my carpet. The worst part is: after they were done, I asked for the bill, and I graciously added a 20% tip (and keep in mind these I'm paying for the half hour they didn't work). The mover said to me, ""we work hard, add a little more."" I gave him a look of, ""who do you think I am?"" I own very few things and obviously live a student lifestyle. Since I'm a young woman, I decided not to upset or argue with the two strong movers and asked how much would make him happy. He asked for an additional $20. I sucked it up and threw in the extra $20. Twenty dollars isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things, and a small price to pay for my peace of mind, but I found this unprofessional, rude and just plain unacceptable. Anyway, even with the 38% tip, it was still a good deal, and the total price is competitive with other companies. If you want low cost, don't have valuable stuff, then it's fine to go with Oasis. However, for principle sake, I will not use them again. I'd rather pay a premium for another company that is more professional.
Pros: Cheap, relatively efficient
Cons: Rude workers that have trouble communicating, unprofessional
