Oak Express

I don't think I'll buy anything else from Oak Express. We ordered a dining room table and chairs from them....was told it would take 6 weeks to get it in....I can live with that. It actually took about 7 or 8 weeks. Then, once it came in, we had to wait another 2 weeks for delivery. When it finally came, the table had a chunk missing out of the top and 2 of the 6 chairs had scratches/marks on them, and the buffet color didn't match the rest of the furniture. When I called to ask about the color difference, they said, that's just the way it is.....sure looked like it all matched in the store! When the replacement table came (which took about 4 weeks), it was in worse shape than the first table! Large bubble on the top and the leaves had 2 huge scratches down the middle. \r \r I had a co-worked who had a lot of trouble with them too....I should of listened to him!\r \r I'll be a Kittles shopper from now on. more

I bought a waterbed from them a few years ago, and they were very helpful. They explained everything to me about how to care for the bed, and how to put it together. They answered all my questions and spent the extra time with me to make sure I got what I needed. The prices are a little higher but the customer service makes it all worth it. This store has a nice variety of wood furniture - kitchen sets, bookcases, etc. There are a variety of woods and finishes. The store is spacious and easy to shop, and the prices are reasonable. The sales help is helpful - sometimes they'll approach you, sometimes you have to ask, but they'll answer your questions. We bought our kitchen set and bar stools here and have been pleased. more
