New York's finest team 4/12/2006

Everyone in New York knows the only team worth rooting for is the Yankees; they are the only team that actually wins. I'm not a sports fan by any means and I don't go crazy during baseball season, but it's always good to attend at least one Yankees game in your lifetime. The drinks, the food, the seats, basically everything is expensive here, so be warned. But how can you not go to support the Yankees when they have Jeter, ARod, Rivera, Posada, and Godzilla all on the same team. Go Yankees! more

Can't beat the Bronx Bombers 8/20/2005

Yankee Stadium is an experience in itself. Tickets are hard to come by, and everything from parking to food to the tickets themselves is quite lofty in price. Going to a game is classic Americana, however, so don’t be discouraged by the price. One tip: make sure to visit Monument Park before the game (you’ll have to arrive early). Watching batting practice is also a lot of fun. And using public transportation isn’t a bad idea – it can be a bit of a traffic jam leaving after the game. more

The Best Baseball Team 8/17/2005

With twenty six world series championships yankees are the best team in baseball. With stars like Alex Rodriguez and Drek Jeter the Yankees are the best. Ive been to the beautiful yankee stadium which they are tearing down. The yankees are good team and very popular in new york. I recommend you go and buy tickets for the game. Im not wrong about this. more

The stadium 8/16/2005

If you are in New York City or a surrounding area and are a baseball fan one must go to the House that Ruth Built. Yankeess stadium is a landmarc and the epicienter of the baseball universe. One just gets a rush when they walk inside and see the lawn and the Bronx Bombers in their pinstripes. Seats anywehre in the stadium are good, but i recommend spending a bit more to get down low and close to the dugout... more

YANKEES STADIUM! 8/15/2005

There is little to be said about Yankees Stadium that isn't already known. This place is incredible! You do not have to be a baseball fan to enjoy coming to Yankees Stadium. The thought of sitting on the bleachers for 3 hours might sound unpleasent, but the moment you experience the fanfare of your surroundings, time will fly. This place has such a good feeling to it that you'll get lost in the moment. Catch a game with the Yankees! You don't have to be a baseball fan. You can go there to meet guys, girls, or just new friends. Every game is a great social event. more

I hate the New York Yankees. In fact, I abhor the New York Yankees. Now having said that, I must also say that you have not seen a baseball game until you have watched a game in Yankee Stadium. Sure the park is run down but there is so much history here it is unbelievable. A must see for tourists. more

Great value 8/5/2005

Considering the payroll and history, the bleacher seats are still a real bargain. If you can get the seats early, you're in for a treat if the Red Sox are in town. Only downside is that there's no alcohol served in the bleachers -- too many fights I guess. The subway ride back and forth can be a little rough, but it's great to see Yankee stadium -- will put a chill in you. more
