Northridge Toyota - Great People, Great Company, Best Deal 11/4/2011

Earlier this year (2011) I received bids over the Internet for a new Toyota Camry from dealers in Los Angeles, Ventura and Orange Counties. The best deal, though, came from Northridge Toyota. (The highest bid was actually from our local Toyota dealer, where my brother-in-law told me he personally knew the Internet Sales Manager there and even promised his bid would be the lowest. Sales people are good. Friendly. And all the department with sales, financial nice people, even if they will try to get as much as possible money from you. Not the repair service. They try to charge you several times, for items, which not even exist in repair. Several times they tried to charge me for the items, which ?supposed to be changed?, when I told that all these items covered by warranty, they decided not to repair so called ?supposed to be changed? parts, because ?warrantee inspector will not approve it, i.e. it still WORKING PROPERLY! Now they found new ways to get money from the customers. As we know, Toyota is really good brand, it is still reliable and well established car manufacture. So they started to send letters with ?recall service?. Of course we will respond to it, especially if it will be critical conditions, even if the car is working perfectly fine!. I called and asked when their less busy days were for service, and they told me Tue and Wed. I made an appt for one of those days for an oil change. For what should have taken about an hour tops took 3 hours! That was the last time I went. Then they kept sending me pleading letters and ads begging me to come back saying I'm overdue for my car's service. Uh no. I'm going somewhere else obviously. Several years later I called to ask how much a belt cost and the first thing the guy wanted to know was my last name. Huh? So if I didn't tell him the "right" name he'd charge me more? I asked him if giving him my name changed the price. He said he wanted to know what kind of car I had. (Well why didn't he ask me?) I told him the make and year and he hung up! Yeah, OK, then I hung up. Permanently. more

Northridge Toyota-CAR SERVICE 11/4/2009

Against all advice that servicing your car at a dealer is a rip off, I went ahead serviced my car there and was happy to find that I paid the same I had the last time I serviced it an an independent mechanic! They are knowledgable, organized, clean and efficient, I was given a ride home inthe shuttle and picked up later. more

I hate buying cars! The obnoxious sales pitch and all that crap. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of my purchase at Northridge Toyota. I bought a Camry last weekend and it was smooth, easy and even pretty quick. I was out of there in less than 1.5 hours and got a good deal on the car and none of the usual hassle or hard sell B.S.\r that comes with a new car purchase.\r \r Congrats to them for making an unpleasant task pretty easy. I would have to recommend them to anyone looking for a Toyota. more

GREAT EXPERIENCE AT NORTHRIDGE TOYOTA 2/12/2007

I bought my new Toyota from them last week... They were AWESOME !! I had heard that they gave great deals on all "hard to find cars", like the Prius and the FJ CRUISER, so I gave them a shot ... They gave me a great price right from the start, and no hassle the whole way through !!! I loved dealing with them !! I went through the Internet Department, and was treated like a celebrity. I will send everyone there that I know. They are worth the drive !!! Way to go Northridge Toyota !!! more

I went to a dealer to by 2007 Camry XLE and ended up paying too much for it compared to other dealers.\r \r They also gave me low offer for my trade-in and then turned around and put it up for sale for $6500 more!\r \r Overall: I?m very unhappy with the transaction and will never come back to them. more

Bothersome car dealer 9/30/2006

It is a hassle dealing with the floor manager. Rude and unrespectful to buyers. The financing department will not accept bank drafts from your own financing company (They will loose the commision from Toyota Financial). When you call about a problem, they will pass you from person to person. From 0 to 10 on satisfaction on the car deal, I'll give them a 1. Good service 3/9/2006

The first thing I noticed walking into this dealership was that the salesperson quickly came out to greet me. This was actually a big plus since it shows more effort on his part. The sales rep was extremely friendly and not too talkative, but at the same time, very informative and helpful. Although they did not have what I was looking for at the time, he did not show any unpleasant reactions and just offered me his business card. I really appreciate dealers who aren't too pushy with their customers and this particular dealer fit that description. more

The car buying experience is painful enough, isn't it? Luckily, the car I got here is a good one, and the process was not too painful. However, they keep calling, wanting to renegotiate. What's up with that? Service has been mixed. Overall, I would probably do business with them again more
