Good Value for the Money 10/20/2008

I go to this movie theatre often, the employees are very friendly, they will refill your popcorn 3 times. Good service. Good place to take a family if you do not have a lot of money to spend, but want to see family friendly movies overall or, if you want to spend time with your sweetie, but are on a tight budget. They have beefed up security, they clean after every showing and after the last movie. The seating is comfortable. It may not be as posh as some, but still a good place to go. I recommend it. more

Cheap Movies 8/21/2005

North Town is a great place if you want the whole movie theater experience, but you don't want to pay a ridiculous amount of money. Though the movies they show are a little old, you only have to pay $1.50 to see them! The actual theatre's are a bit small and can get kind of crowded, but other then that it is a great place to go. more

Bargain Basement...if Slightly Dated...Movies 8/17/2005

North Towne has seen its better days, but if you're short on cash and haven't been to the movies lately, this is a great place to spend very little and see a movie in the theatre instead of on video. Bargain basement pricing for movies past their prime, but good for kids. Choose your movie carefully. More serious dramas help you avoid the unruly crowds that can pop up from time to time at comedies and other movies more appealing to kids. more

Rockford's Dollar Theatre 8/11/2005

North Towne Cinema is nice for a cheap night out. All the shows are $1. The movies are first run, but don't expect to see anything that was released the week before. Usually the movies there are about a month behind from the first run schedule. However, the food is the same price as any other theatre. The theatre does have a dingy, moldy smell throughout. more
