Great Sushi, Awesome Food! 12/11/2006

Been here more times then I can remember, and its always good. Nobu is the best Sushi place around (and theres alot of them). They use the best and most fresh ingredients available. The sushi is always awesome and the creamy spicy shrimp are great. Although it gets noisy its definetly one of the best Sushi places around, and presented in a great setting (The Shore Club). Been here more times then I can remember, and its always good. Nobu is the best Sushi place around (and theres alot of them). They use the best and most fresh ingredients available. The sushi is always awesome and the creamy spicy shrimp are great. Although it gets noisy its definetly one of the best Sushi places around, and presented in a great setting (The Shore Club). Average Sushi 7/16/2006

I don't know what everyone else ate to call this restaurant one of the best, but the night I went, the sushi was mediocre. We ordered a few of their specials : one being a great dish of yellowtail with jalepeno and a special Nobu sauce. What we saw were slabs of yellowtail with one jalepeno on top. NOT IMPRESSIVE. We ordered a bunch of rolls and sashimi. Maybe Mr. Nobu was gone for the night but the sushi was average. Pros: no wait, nice staff Cons: overpriced, loud, crowded more

The sushi was without question, the finest I've had in America. It comes very close to the kind I had in Japan a year ago, but this one is much closer to the house. I could spare the airline ticket now for good thankfully. Everything about the experience was magnificent. Nobu has definitely commanded my undivided attention for its forte of food. The details, the service, and the ambiance were right on target as highly expected. Upon arrival, the manager greeted me and my group at the entrance and was very gracious about every possible detail of my evening at the restaurant. The clientele were classy and respectful as well, outside of the occasional on-lookers. Sushi is a delicacy and should be served in no other fashion than the manner that Nobu masterfully presents. There would be no justice on earth if not solely stated as true ""Showtime Sushi."" -L.A. Pros: Everything. Cons: None. more

Top Notch 6/20/2005

I went into Nobu with five friends with high expectations. Needless to say I was completely blown away by both the food and service. We all chose to do a tasting version that the server created for us to fit our likes and dislikes. Every bite was amazing and the meal just got better and better as the night progressed. The black cod turned out to be a personal favorite. And yes, the sushi was amazing as well. Plus, the price is very very reasonable. We spent $200 each which included drinks, bottled h2o, a bottle of wine, and a seven course meal!!! Pros: food, price, atmosphere Cons: tables close together more

Someone Help 12/22/2004

I have also eaten at Nobu many times in many cities including this one at least 5 times. Nobu Miami always has attitude - you expect it, but this last time, well let's put it this way, they had give us most of our meal for free. Dinner for 4 people (once seated) took 2 1/2 hours our waiter nevew came by our meals were cooked wrong and when I complained the manager had the nerve to say 'well it was human error, we can't do anything'. Needless to say that did not go over well. That whole staff needs to be fired. more

My friend waited an hour after we received our rolls to receive her entree. First they brought it to the WRONG table, the people sifted through with chop sticks and then THE WAITER TRIED TO GIVE IT TO US! We refused (obviously!) and then waited another 1/2 hour. Medium-rare steak should NOT take that long! We also never received an appetizer we ordered. When we complained to the manager about the atrocious service, manager was RUDE. They finally removed the entree. I would have rather paid money for a good meal, then pay a less for a HORRIBLE experience. The thing that saves this place is that it is near the Skybar, which is FABULOUS. Pros: Near Skybar Cons: , Long Wait, Takes to long more

Great Place 6/29/2004

First time to eat at Nobu's and I will be back! The dinner was wonderful and the waiters/ress were not pushy, they were very helpful in recommending sake and such! We went on a Thursday night and waited about 20 mins. Not bad at all for south beach or any where else! Loved it! more
