EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT!!!!! Greek food can be expensive. At this casual dining establishment, the food is authentic, but very affordable. And delicious!!! Enjoy!

My friends introduced me to Nikos Nikos when I move to Houston 3 years ago. I take my relatives when they come into town. The place is great. Best Greek food I've had in town. more

Great Gyros! 2/19/2006

Niko Niko's has been a Houston staple for over 20 years. In the heart of Montrose, this greek restaurant offers casual dining with loads of flavor. Parking can be a bit tough, and a line might as well be guaranteed, but that only says one thing...the food is incredible and must be worth the trouble of waiting in line. The dining area is nice and open and the service is great. All employees are super friendly and mostly smiling! more

Niko Niko's is Tasty, Tasty! 2/1/2006

This place is always busy, and rightly so. They offer some very tasty Greek cuisine. They have a large menu, but my favorites are the classics. Very fresh Greek salad with a big slice of feta, and a gyro stuffed full to the max. I always ogle the dessert counter while I wait for my number, but I'm usually too full to indulge. Be sure to grab a bottle of water when you order. The food is salty. Niko Niko's is not a fancy place, and parking can really be a challenge, but I think it's worth it. more

Fantastic freshly made to order Greek gyros, salads, dinner plates and .Greek specialty lunch and dinner treats. Homemade Baklava and other traditional desserts. Very popular for it's super fresh food and reasonable prices, $6-$10 per meal). Very casual atmosphere, and two recently expanded dining rooms. Order at the counter and they will call when your order is ready... or call ahead for faster pick up service. Parking is difficult, but worth the search. A Houston favorite for decades. Annually wins the Marvin Zindler clean kitchen award. more

Gyros! 8/20/2005

This place is even better since they have expanded. Their Greek gyros are oh so very delicious and filling. A rather large pita with meat rolled up inside, definitely quenches my appetite. You will get your bang for your buck here. The atmosphere is fairly close and the food is quite wonderful. Go there. more

Niko Nikos is the best Greek Food you can probably find in town. I found this restaurant while driving down on monstrose looking for a place to eat during lunch. The prices are fine and the environment is just right. For some reason the food makes you sleepy so I'll suggest eating it for dinner instead. more

The cafe Niko Niko's has been impressing Houstonians over 20 years with their popular gyros sandwiches. They are so mouth watering that there is usually a line out the door, but the wait is worth your while. It's great food at great prices and just about everything on the menu is delicious! And at a very reasonable price. more

Family loves this place 8/19/2005

I'm not crazy about greek food, but the rest of my family is. When when are close to Westheimer this is usually where we choose to eat. It's not at all fancy, very casual dining. I'm told the food is quite authentic. I usually get the greek salad, which is good. My mom and sister love the gyro plate. Prices are great. more

the place is kind of hard to find, well for me. it is a very informal place. the atmosphere is like that of any old burger joint. you get in line to order, and go up to pick up your food. the food is very good and the portions are nice. for those who are new to greek food, the menu can be a little daunting and it might take you a little while to figure out what you want to eat. overall, a good experience. oh and have fun parking. it can get tough during popular times. more

I don't eat out much, but the last time I went shopping a friend took me to this Greek joint on Montrose. One glance and I could already tell the place was a local hot spot. I ordered the Greek chicken parmesan and waited on the patio for my order... I soon discovered why my friend raved about the place. Long story short, they take a classic dish, blend it with tasty Greek flavors, and top it off with all-American classics (like french fries). So if you're hungry and are searching for a fast-food type venue with a friendly atmosphere, rush to Niko Nikos for something new. more

Great food and ambience 8/9/2005

Niko Niko's is my favorite Greek diner in Houston. This is a casual, order at the counter resturant that has been at the same location for decades! My favorite dish is the Gyro with sides of potatos and greek salad. The meat is tender and you always get a thick slab of feta on your salad. Delicious! This place is always busy on the weekends, but there is plenty of seating inside and outside. more
