Delicious and great service! 11/12/2005

A great addition to the Marina, Newroz presents delicious dishes at a reasonable price. There is a wide variety of choices for any palate, their Ezme (I think that's the spelling) salad was fresh and delicious. Their desserts (especially the rice pudding) are not to be missed! They make a fabulous pomegranate martini, and their wines by the glass are good and priced reasonably. Finish things off with a Turkish coffee! Great! Pros: Great Food, Turkish Coffee, Desserts!! Very disappointing 9/3/2005

The food was very disappointing. As a native of southeastern Turkey, I found that the food was not very authentic -- we asked for a side of Turkish red pepper with our kebobs, but instead we were served Italian hot pepper for pizzas. The pide (Turkish pita) was tasteless and quite different from what I'm accustomed to. The combination plate which included four different kebobs, was not appealing with all the meats overcooked. A just okay lunch 5/26/2005

Went to have lunch. We were the only two in the restaurant, and yet my order was wrong. When my lunch did come, it was cold in the middle. Oh well. The staff were nice, but I""m not sure I'd go back. more

Great Mediterranean food in the Marina 5/8/2005

I've had both luch and dinner here, and the place doesn't dissapoint. The Adana Kebab wrap is very flavorful and delicious. They give you a few different dipping sauces that are excellent. For dinner I've tried several plates b/c I've gone with firends. We all agree that the beyti, and manti are woth the visit alone. The service was great on all occassions. Very helpful, attentive, and friendly. Being that I love in the Marina, I hope this place is around for a long time. more
