Scammers 10/30/2009

Received a high bid on snaking out my slow tub drain and slow draining bar sink. I figured it was a worst case scenario cost. This is understandable because there's no way of telling what the problem is when the plumbing isn't visible. LIterally, 15 minutes later, the job was done....$311.00!!! This was suposedly a discount too! Pros: They showed up. Cons: Outrageous overbilling.. more

Dishonest and mis-leading 7/18/2009

Just had these crooks come to my home for a Air conditioner repair. Was quoted $700+ for a part that was under warranty. A fan motor, 4 bolts and 3 wires. They look to take advantage of people in a bad situation. Save your time and money look Else where. more

His Day Can Overcharge That 7/13/2009

They may do the job correctly, but boy will it cost you. I used to work for a rooter service in town. One of the small guys who charges $80 bucks to rooter out a sewer line. My next door neighbor calls these jerks who charge $890 buck for rootering out one sewer line! No repairs, just a simple one hour job. All these cute adds and refrigerator magnets glued to the front of phone books come with a heavy price tag. Stay clear or you too can feel the pinch of mass advertising costs. HORRIBLE customer service 5/20/2009

Neerings is consistently late for appointments. In one case we had scheduled an appointment for 8:30 am. When we called at 9:00, the customer service rep informed us that we were wrong and the appointment was actually for 11:30. We would have never made an appointment for 11:30 because we both had meetings at work that day at 11. They blamed us for their mistake in scheduling. Every time we have had to call the customer service line, they have been rude and blamed us. I'll take the blame if I am really at fault, but each time they messed something up, they never apologized and consistently said ir implied that it was our fault. Use Neerings for quality service 2/26/2009

I have been using Neerings for years. Every time I have had them come over and fix something I have been impressed. They are on time, do quality work and their technicians are knowledgeable and very clean. Neerings is a bit more than some companies, but they give quality work. I would much rather pay a little bit more for something that is going to last a long time, than something that is put in poorly and is cheap quality. Pros: great customer service, reliability and work quality. more

I contacted this company to perform a minor plumbing repair at my home. The technician described the work to be performed. I questioned the price, as it seemed quite expensive. The technician then described how they use such expensive, quality parts and how he would need to replace a certain amount of plumbing. After he was done, I inspected his work because I was surprised that he was done so quickly. Only a portion of the plumbing was replaced that he said needed to be replaced. I again questioned the price. He stated that the price was correct. Not wanting to get into a confrontation in my own home, I paid the technician and then immediately contacted the company. I was told that they would look into it and someone would return my call. No one ever called me back. I placed more calls to the company with no return calls until they discovered I had placed a stop payment on my check. I then spoke with more people, and finally to Troy Neerings. All I was trying to do was settle the issu more

Neerings Installed Cheap Parts At A Premium Price! 2/11/2009

I have used several Plumbing Companies throughout the 30 years in my current home. One of my favorites were not able to come on my schedule, so I decided to call Neerings, as most of the companies I have used use ""Industry Standard"" pricing, (this supposedly keeps the prices competitive), I thought, ""there ads sound good, I'll try them"". I needed my front and back Hose Bibs replaced because they had been dripping for years, and now no further adjustments could stop the dripping. This was in June of 2004. These were reported to be the ""Top of the Line"" hose bibs by the Technician, these were the ""Anti Freeze"" hose bibs. I took their word for it they were ""top of the line"". Well, long story short, in August of 2008 I had to have them replaced because one had got water in the shaft, froze and broke. I found this out by talking to another tech from my list of plumbers I called to do the work. He said, ""they were the cheapest hose bibs available"". I told him what the Neering Tech told me, he said, ""they didn't tell you the truth"". Cons: Misrepresenting Parts and Overcharged for Services more

excellent service 5/17/2008

I have worked with Neerings for about 10 years now and they are the only company that I will call when it comes to plumbing, heating and air conditioning. Yes, they are a little expensive. But I am willing to pay more because they give excellent service and I know that the job will be done right the first time. Call the other guys for cheaper prices and poor work. Service men are very clean cut, professional and on time. I would recommend them to anyone! more

Great Customer Service 6/13/2006

Despite what others are saying, I loved Neerings Plumbing and Heating. I highly recommend them for anyone to use. The prices are high, but the work is high quality. I would rather pay more for the job to be done right, then pay a lower cost for cheap work. The employees seemed to very honest and knowledgable about their field of work. Pros: Great customer service. Cons: Prices are high, but work is quality. more
