We went on a weekday last spring so it was very crowded with tourists and school children. I would try to go on a day when the center isn't as crowded because you'll be able to enjoy the Center more, especially the many exhibits with audio narration which you'll have a hard time hearing with the large crowds. In addition to the interactive videos, there are also a lot of other fun exhibits like the presidential voting machines. The best part however is the twelve minute show with a live actor a 360-degree movie screen that explains the Constitution's early history.
