Best

first time eating thai and I loved it Pros: I LOVE THE FOOD Cons: when it's SUPER busy

Worst

Red curry was sweet, not spicy at all, and very watery. Pad thai was tangy. Weird ambiance. Service was decent, but the food was terrible. Never going back. Pros: Close to Mo...

Yum, Yum!! 3/28/2012

Delicious and fresh, I love this food. It is a contemporary and freshly decorated place, and the service is for those who understand that it takes time to make quality, but it's worth it. The sweet rice and fresh mango dessert is awesome, the chopped chicken lettuce wraps are oh so good. It really is a great place to eat, if you even like Chinese food, you will probably love this, it's even better, imo. more

Great Local Thai 9/6/2009

My wife & I recently returned from visiting family in Thailand and have tried out many of the Houston Thai restaurants. The Tom Khai Gai and Tom Yum Goong (citris chicken soup & coconut shrimp soups, respectively) are about as close to Thailand as we can find, especially the chicken soup (extremely deliciious). My one beef is that Americans have come to expect Pad Thai to be this peanut-buttery, yellow/orange dish. Pad thai is generally pretty heavy in fish/oyster/tamarind sauce, which you will find in their Larb Gai (ground chicken salad) which is also very authentic and very good. I would recommend their Spicy Catfish to those who like fish and the chicken soup to anybody. I'd hate to see a great Thai restaurant in the area go out of business based on a couple reviews. Try it out, and I guarantee you'll find something different and something you like. You will see a lot of to-go business, which I assume is because the atmosphere is quiet & relaxed, with service to match. Don't expect a rushed meal here. Pros: Authentic, Delicious Tom Kha Gai Cons: Americanized Pad Thai more

Has potential 4/20/2008

I have eaten at Nara's 3 times. Each time I walk away wishing the owner would ask me for my opinion.\r I think the flavor is tasty but they do not use the freshest ingredients. The Tiger salad with steak is very tasty but the menu says it is mixed greens when in fact it is iceburg lettuce that is not real fresh. The julienned carrots are clearly from a bag and are not as fresh as they should be. This salad has huge potential if they would upgrade the quality of ingredients. The chicken satay is real tasty as well. Perfect amount of curry seasons the chicken. I like the decor which is modern. The atmosphere could be livened up with music. I hope they read this because we are hoping they make it. more

Worst Thai I've had 4/15/2008
