I have been going to Vanessa for 11 years, I go where ever she moves. I'm always receiving compliments on my eyebrows. Vanessa is always very freindly and very pleasant to deal with, she always has time for you even if you don't make an appointment. I highly recommend her. I would not go any where else to get my eyebrows done, she is the BEST in town. more

Vanessa is superb at her craft. Her method of eyebrow waxing is caring, thorough, and customized to one's facial features. When you're done, you will have the perfect frame for your face. She never takes off too much or too little. Since I was 14, I have been complimented on my perfect eyebrows, and 15 years later no other waxing technician has earned my business or the business of my family and friends whom I recommended to her. My hairdresser just had a girl named Vanessa start working at Meringue salon. She gave me such a wonderful manicure and pedicure .My nails are hard to do .They are thin and are always breaking. I just had my first brazillian wax and it is perfect smooth as a baby. Vanessa is amazing. She also gave me the best and most detailed manicure ever. She has a fantastic sense of humor as does David who I had my hair done with. They both made me laugh the whole time i was there.Try the salon it is the best treasure chest in the city. more

Vanessa gives a fantastic manicure. My nails look gorgeously shiny and the polish lasts and lasts. In addition, she just knows what looks good on you, from the perfect color to the best arch for your brows. Vanessa is fantastic. She gives you the finest manicure and pedicure in Philadelphia, I have tried many and she by far surpasses all. She takes her time and does not rush and she is also so funny. i look forward to seeing Vaness every time I come to Meringue on 1440 Lombard st. to see my hair dresser David whom I have been using for many years . Best manicure and waxing in town 2/29/2008

I stumbled on Vanessa two years ago and have been a loyal customer ever since. She definitely gives the best manicures and pedicures in town. I also wouldn't trust my eyebrows to anyone else. She has moved inside Meringue Salon at 1440 Lombard Street and is worth checking out. She truly is the best in her profession. more

As a local TV personality I rely on Vanessa to make sure I'm always camera-ready. From my eyebrows down to my toes -- Vanessa primps, pampers, and plucks me and she does it effortlessly. She's really good at what she does!!! I never have to wait and she accomodates last minute appointments, even on a late Friday afternoon....or early Sunday morning. (GET THIS: she doesn't just do it for me - I've seen her do it for plently of people. She does it because she CARES about her clients) Her loyalty makes me a loyal client. Plus, her prices cannot be beat! From waxing to manicures -- everything is pretty reasonable. A good manicure less than 20 bucks? Are you kidding me? Honestly, I could go on and on and on... more
