Taking Gross Advantage of Teenagers, filed complaint with BBB 5/14/2014

This place is in direct violation with any business ethics. My daughter was bullied into leaving a tip, and given an unprofessional manicure that peeled within hours. When I went to the store to find a manager, I was told no one was in charge. When I called, I was told all managers were on vacation. It is unacceptable not to deal with being paid for a service they did not provide, and I am filing complaints with BBB. They are an awful business with awful service, and clearly unprofessional and unethical in all aspects of the services they provide. My teenage daughter saved up her own money for the pedicure and manicure and for $50, she deserved better than an awful manicure, a woman who was rude, and demanded a tip from a child. Awful, awful, awful. more

Horrible experience 9/28/2013

The service here is terrible as well as the actual job. They rush through to get the next customer, it is obviously about quantity and not quality here. They only use gel polish on the base coat and top coat. Also, you don't get a proper manicure, they only file your nails and apply color and then lotion at the end, and charge you $50. Do not go here. more

Won't Go Back 7/4/2013

Positive: Got me in right away and were very pleasant. Good atmosphere. Negative: I had a Spa Pedi for $30 and she talked me into a $5 callous treatment...total time spent in chair was 18 minutes while being solicited for more services the ENTIRE time up until I paid. I did not even have any callouses but just wanted a good scrub. My pedi looked great but after about 3 hours despite no interference of my own there was a small chip on the tip of my large toe. The pedi & callous scrub should have lasted 30 minutes at least. more

Horrible service 5/5/2013

Worst pedicure I have ever had. She was rude, made me pay 5 dollars extra for foot scrub. Also barely got a massage and it was only 15-20 minutes. more

Manicure 3/27/2013

Did a great job but even though I said at first I only want the $15 manicure the lady continued to pressure me into the $30 gel nails untill I gave in. more

Bad services 1/10/2013

Owner/Judy is very bitchy... Yelling and screaming at customer, very unprofessional. She pretends to be just a worker or manager of this shop. I found out that her sister also owns Avalon Nails and Modern Nails in Easton Mall. These people are very rude owners. Avoid to be in these Nails shop if you can. more

Great Experience 6/5/2011

I received a great mani/pedi. They do not charge extra for buffing your feet (with the sand paper'ish tool) as mentioned below, but they do charge $5 more if you want them to use this thing that looks like a cheese grater. My fingers and toes looked great at it was only $42+tax for a mani/pedi combo. The mani was about 20 minutes long and the pedi was about 40 minutes long. This was my first time there and I loved it. more

Quickest pedicure EVER! 5/26/2011

I am so disappointed in my experience at NailPro - I will NEVER go there again. They told me a pedicure was $30 then kept trying to "upgrade" it for me. I kept telling them "No, thank you" because usually the basic one is fine for me. WELL ... she asked if I wanted my heels done (with a callous remover) and I said sure. Half way through my first foot, she said, "FI DOLA." I could not believe they charged me an extra $5 to do what I assumed was always included in a pedicure! Once she realized I was only in for the $30 one (well, now it was $35) she literally was completely finished within 16 or 17 minutes! I was so disappointed and so upset that I had to pay $37.54 for a pedicure that was absolute CRAP! Beware of this scam - don't waste your money because even the 17 minutes weren't very relaxing! more

HORRIBLE 5/17/2011

I spent 80 dollars on a pedicure and french acrylic nails. The woman kept adding things without my say causing the cost to go up. I got my nails done friday, then after prom saturday nails started to fall off already! more

Never Again 9/17/2010

Worst mani ever! The nail tech was too busy chatting to her next door co-worker to even see how horrible of a job see was doing on my nails. I had to ask her at the end of the catastrophe to take the excess polish off of my fingers. My nails were very jagged on end and the nail tech missed a few spots. To top it off, she leads me to the "drying station" and says nothing... I sit there and put my nails under absolutely nothing.. I had to ask the receptionist if the dryer was on!! She came over and turned on a light with no instruction....never again!! more

Trustworthy Nail Salon 4/26/2006

After watching one of those scary Dateline specials, I decided to forgo manicures and pedicures completely, unless a close friend could verify that it was a good place. And I could see for myself. Nail Pro in the Polaris Fashion Center met all the requirements I could think to lay down. A good friend and her family have been going there regularly for more than a year with good results, so I decided to go along and check it out. The salon is clean and orderly, there are health code requirements posted at various places throughout, the professionals wear gloves for pedi's and clean the foot soak tubs, and everyone has their license w/ photo and qualifications on their desks. Being big on sterilization/ anti-bac & germ-free, I looked for evidence, and definitely found it throughout the salon. So, I tried it out. It was relaxing, quick, but not too quick (it's got to feel like a splurge), and not a bad price either. It was also one of the best foot massages of my life... if you go, ask for Phi. They are very polite, and make you feel comfortable. They were also really nice about explaining things to a newbie who asks a lot of questions. Manicures in a large variety of colors run $15 and pedis, $30, while a combo is $42. They also offered acrylic, and I believe that was $30 for a full set. It's been more than a week now, and the pedicure is in perfect condition. Looks like I'll be going back to splurge on a manicure a little sooner than a pedicure. They're open 6 days a week from 10am-9pm, and Sunday 12-6 more
