My experience with MyChef really was everything that a busy (and a perfectionist) bride could ever hope for ! From my very first phone call with them, I kind of had a feeling that I'd be working with them. Sue Jacobs was the one that managed our catering. She was very friendly, very patient, very professional. I knew she 's crazy busy, but she always took the time to make sure she answered my questions and such. my wedding was in Chicago, but during the entire planning I worked in Omaha, Sue knew about this, and she was very flexible in terms of scheduling tastings and communicating with me through emails. more

My Chef Collaborates to End Hunger in the Community 5/22/2011

My Chef Catering understands that celebrating life also means sustaining it. In 2008, as part of the Rotary Club of Naperville, they created a wildly successful event called Soup?s On! to combat hunger and homelessness in the community. Every year, My Chef leads the organization and setup of the event through collaborations with local restaurants and food vendors. Last year?s event raised $105,000 for three local nonprofits. Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry in Naperville, IL is thankful for the dedicated partnership of My Chef Catering. We look forward to another successful Soup?s On! event in October 2011. more

My Chef Provides Outstanding Funeral Luncheon 3/1/2011

The passing of my Father was a surprise and a very difficult time for me this past week. Out of town guests arriving, the lack of siblings, a bed ridden mother all contributed to my total angst. My Chef was recommended as a potential caterer for the post funeral luncheon. I called and within minutes a menu was emailed with many many options in all price ranges. Each question was answered promptly. I felt immediately that these people cared about me and were ready to help at this most difficult time. I chose the chicken breast and beef buffet with all the trimmings. THIS WAS AN OUSTANDING CHOICE!!. The food was delicious. Cold things were cold and hot things hot. The beef was truly outstanding and I heard so many positive compliments even from the farmers in the crowd who have corn-fed, home raised beef in their freezers!! The staff was exceptionally professional, polite, attentive yet unintrusive. the buffet was laid out with a good flow pattern. Many people also raved about the blue cheese green salad with the pear dressing and I agree that it was so refreshing to the palate. I did NOT have a single disappointment in using this firm.They also contacted our church directly and viewed the fellowship hall days before the event to avoid surprises. Total professionals and fantastic food and service!!!!!!!!!! more

A class above the rest 6/1/2006

My Chef Catering has been my preferred caterer for over 15 years for my own personal use as well as for my clients. Their superior service and attention to the smallest detail is what places them several levels above the rest. The unique, tastefully done menus are a delight to the eye as well as your palate, a sheer delight for everyone who attends any of my events. From an intimate dinner for two to an open house for 200, I always have a smile on my face and a ton of compliments by the end of the evening. Plus, I got to enjoy my own party !!!!! Thanks My Chef !!!! Pros: well seasoned staff, unbelievable menus, super flexible Cons: absolutely none more

Outstanding Caterer 3/7/2006

My Chef Catering did our business holiday party. They did an outstanding job. No detail was left to chance -- all aspects of the event exceeded our expectation. I would heartily recommend this company for any catered event -- They are top notch! more
