FIND ANOTHER RESTAURANT. I HAVE GONE HERE FOR A LONG TIME & LOVED THE FOOD. SUNDAY THEY HAD A SOAKING WET FLOOR WITH NO SIGN & I TOOK A VERY SERIOUS FALL RIGHT ON MY JUST REPLACED KNEE. NO ONE CARED. CALLED & ASKED FOR OWNER THE NEXT DAY & I WAS HUNG UP ON.\r \r NOT WORTH IT. IF THEY HAVE THAT BAD OF FOLLOWING OF THE HEALTH CODES I'D BE SERIOUSLY WORRIED! more

Authentic Delicious Mexican Food in South Seattle - Great Prices 12/28/2008

So after reading the reviews we decided to try Muy Macho in South Seattle. Food was served hot and didn't have to wait long. Neighborhood is nothing to write home about but was fine for a quick lunch break.\r \r What we liked:\r o The 5-taco plate special is a delicious bargain. Go for the marinated beef!\r o 3 small bowls of sauce - very tasty\r o The prices\r o Chips were crispy and fresh\r o Service was quick but not too attentive - didn't check back to see how we were doing\r \r What we didn't like:\r o The glasses of water were served without ice and had a bit of an after taste\r o Waitress didn't check back to keep my glass of diet coke full\r o The lettuce/avocado salsa accompanying the carne asada wasn't fresh\r o Salsa was ok but tastes like it comes out of a bottle - fresh would have been much better\r o Neighborhood isn't the best but don't let that discourage you.\r \r Now that I've discovered this great mexican food, I'll be coming here for quick business lunches since there really isn't much around Boeing field in South Seattle. Definitely recommended. Pros: Authentic mexican, tasty and hot, Prices are great Cons: Service could be improved. Neighborhood more

Very good Authentic food. 10/7/2006

What can I say here?! The food is REALLY REALLY good! Most of the staff only speaks a little english, and most of the clientel are Mexicans as well - personally I think that's a good sign! I've tried the taco dinner, with chicken, pork, carnitas - whole beans, or refried beans. I've tried the Mole (AMAZING) and the Taquito's .. Everything there has been AMAZING. From the free corn chips and salsa, to the fresh corn tortia's the use on the taco's (tacos are only $.99 each btw) this place is a MUST if you want real Mexican food. The BUSINESS INFO page here is wrong, they do take cards (visa, mastercard etc) Pros: authentic mexican food Cons: beautiful, but uncomfortable chairs. more

Seattle's most Authentic Mexican food 2/13/2006

Muy Mucho has excellent Mexican food. The location may be a little sketchy, but it is definately worth it. The service is great and the food is of great value. The avocado burrito actually has a good amount of avocado it in. My only complaint is that the women's restroom is impossible to sit down and have the door shut... but hey, just don't use it if that bothers you :) Pros: good food, good value Cons: restrooms, location more

THE BEST IN SEATTLE 1/6/2005

I moved here from San Francisco last year. I was missing the real Mexican food..I couldn't find one decent place here. Then a friend took me here! I was so HAPPY! If you want REAL Mexican food this is the place! I was grupping on the pozole, and downing the Horchata! The pozole was made the way it is supposed to be made. I was shocked that they even had it on the menu. They have everything here! My friend had pollo, and it was so good! I started to eat off his plate! The people were super nice. I am so glad this place is out there! I was going to give up on finding a decent Mexican food place! This place won in my book! more

Authentic & Additctive 12/16/2004

If you are looking for a truly authentic experience in Mexican food, come here. Period. The tacos are made with soft fresh corn tortillas, generous amounts of meat, cilantro and onion. Served with radishes on the side - this is not the Tex-Mex style that claims to be Mexican. The Menudo, Lengua and Carnitas are my favorites. There are items on the menu you'll never find at other places in Seattle. For those of you from California that were searching for a true Taqueria, make the trip down to South Park - I promise, you'll not be disappointed!! It's worth the 30-minute drive where ever you may be coming from. Pros: Tacos, Menudo, Burritos more

Mexican the way it should be 11/24/2004

this is by far the best Mexican I have every tasted. The food is authentic, prepared fresh, and served with a smile. the staff are very friendly. I will definitely be bringing my family again and again. Also telling all my friends, you should too. Try it! Pros: Food is Great, Inexpensive, Nice Atmosphere more

Verdaderamente es comida mexicana! 10/30/2002

This is an authentic mexican place where you can find and taste real mexican food (and for mexican food, i do not mean tex-mex or mexican food prepared for an american audience). It may not be a fanzy place but hey, the food is great! Try a ""pozole"" with an ""agua de horchata"" or many of the other items in the menu. You'll like it. more
