Shawnese is the best! My new hair style with color and highlights has turned the heads of many. My family, peers and collegues have given me great compliments. Amazing. My mom set up an appointment for me to see her hairdresser, Heather. She has done my color and cut a few times, and it's always turned out beautifully. When Heather was out of town I set up an appointment with Sophia, a L'Oreal Professionnel Educator. I usually stick with the same brownish red color but she picked out something even better, a beautiful deep ruby red. I usually feel weird about the styling of my hair, but Sophia curled and styled it in a way that has held (two days now) and looks natural. I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend Muse's Salon - both Heather and Sophia are very talented and extremely friendly. more

Hey Atlanta, you are luckier then you know as Sophia has arrived at Muse Salon straight from the bitter cold of Minnesota. I have gone to Sophia for years after searching for a stylist who would listen and offer ""doable"" suggestions. Sophia is a great Colorist and a L'Oreal Professionnel Educator, she treats her customers like royalty and will become an instant part of your life. I am happy to say I get to come to Atlanta next week for business and I have made time in my schedule to see Sophia while I am there, I only wish I could figure out a way to get there ever 6-8 weeks. I wish Sophia much luck in Atlanta but I have to say I am a little more than bummed that she left us before the snow began to fly. MN girl more

Two of my friends, Frannie and Michelle referred me to this salon. I went for the first time a couple weeks ago and saw Jillian. I LOVE my hair! Shiniest and prettiest it's been since I was a little girl!! No, I am NOT exaggerating!! Amy did my shampoo and OMG that shampoo was a ZEN experience!! Oh my Lord! If only I could I'd get her to shampoo my hair every time it needed it!!! I feel like I should mention Daniel, the owner as well. I haven't met him. But he has to be incredible. There is no way that salon could be as great as it is without someone at the top being a great manager. So thank you Daniel and I look forward to meeting you! more

I have been going to Muse for years - Joey for hair and Yelena for face. They are the BEST ever!! The entire salon is professional and courteous yet makes you feel completely at home. I am 57 years old and get compliments on my hair frequently for both the cut and color. And my skin looks and feels wonderful! At my age that makes every day a good one!! Ever since moving to the Atlanta area, I have been searching for the perfect place to get my hair done. After 7 years, I have found it - Muse Salon and Spa! The staff are very knowledgable and courteous. The atmosphere is trendy yet comfortable. The owners strongly believe in education and training - and it shows. The stylists know the latest color and cut techniques. The salon also offers facials, brow waxing, etc. I just can't say enough good things about this place. If you want to feel really good about yourself, then go to Muse Salon & Spa. They are the BEST! more

I just left Muse feeling so special and pampered. I am always greeted with a hug and a smile. Daniel is always interested in what is going on in my life. I have some exciting things coming up and wanted a new haircut. I could not describe what I had in mind, but as always, Daniel can read my mind. It is exactly what I wanted and did not know how to express. Just hearing Daniel's voice always makes me smile. I have been going to Muse since their opening and have never once been disappointed. In fact, I am continually suprised and in constant awe of their talents; the staff just keeps getting better over time. I have sat in almost every stylist chair (I'm not the best at making appts.) from one time or another and I always feel so ""welcomed"" by the stylists to experience a new talent. I have thick, curly, unruly hair and I see the excitement in their eyes when it is time to cut and color, they look at your hair as a work of art! It is a great feeling because after 20 years of no one understanding my hair - Muse's staff does! At 48, I feel fabulous and have not enjoyed my hair like this since my 20's...thank you Muse! I have my eyebrows waxed and tinted as well as eyelashes tinted at Muse as well which is amazing for a gal on the go that doesn't wear make up to run errands; it makes a huge difference, I feel good when I look in the mirror...if you have never tried it; it is a must! I splurged on my first facial recently and I can tell you from a woman that has never has any ""work"" done...it was as if I had ""new skin""; I will never go without facials again! All I know is that I get compliments on my hair everywhere I go on my hair~what an incredible feeling that is. I feel fabulous every time I visit!!! Treat yourself sometime to having your make up done for a night out...you wont be disappointed! You can't go wrong with any stylist so it is hard for me to pick out my favorites because I love and trust them all with my hair (and that is a lot of trust with this mane!). As a side note, my 2 daughters go to Auburn and they make appointments to come home to get there hair and brows done; they too have thick hair and they don't want anyone else touching it either! I am kind of new to Muse... about a year. Was introduced to Joey through friends and absolutely love my time with him. He is truly passionate about hair and his craft. Every time I leave the salon I feel like I have ""Blake Lively"" hair. Love her! My latest trip to Muse included the new coloring technique of Baliage and a different approach to cutting my EXTREMELY thick hair. The color is fabulous as it looks so natural, grows out nicely and seems to hold up so much better than Foil. The cut is great as well. A bit technical for my knowledge of hair cutting, but the layers look amazing, we didn't have to ""thin"" my hair out at the end and it is very easy for me to recreate. And that is huge as I do not ""do hair"". Everyone in the salon is very nice, relaxing environment. Joey is sweet and has become my new therapist. Over all a huge fan of Joey and Muse! more

I have been a client at Muse salon for almost 6 years! Prior to being a client I tried several salons but I was always dissatisfied. Daniel Jones took my not so great (alright awful) haircut and color and made me proud to tell people about my stylist and salon experience. I highly recommend Muse for your next cut and color....they rock! *Oh...and my extensions are UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Love them!!!! more

I was a walk-in for a bang trim. I was able to get right in with a guy named Joey, which was nice. My bangs, however, looked TERRIBLE and I would not recommend this location as a result. They looked like a mouse ate them... I don't know if he had to use the bathroom or maybe he was in a rush but he was SUPER rude an he seem annoyed if I gave him any suggestion on how I wanted my bangs done . more

I told JOEY I wanted an inch cut off, I just wanted my split ends trimmed, and he said okay. My hair was down to the middle of my back, when he finished it my hair was chin length! I almost screamed! ...... I gave a few of there stylist a chance but after I had the JOEY experience I was done. I haven more

This is the deal- I am super busy female executive with 3 kids under 8 years. My time is valuable and when I commit to an event, I need a strong ROI. I visit only one person at Muse- because she consistently cuts and colors my hair to perfection. Perfection is defined as wash and go- hair that can look good for board meetings and dinner. Lissie is my stylist and she ranks well with my former NYC and Boston stylists. It is a costly investment so be prepared to pay. more

I had been going to Muse for several years and have to say that I loved my hair color that Jillian did for me. She listens and always seems to come up with the perfect ""cocktail"" for my blond hair. I had many compliments on my hair while going there. Lissie cut my hair with perfect percision. My hair is dark at the roots, greying and with blond hair you must keep up every 5-6 weeks! With that said, I found that I just couldn't justify the money any more. My highlights alone were 185, 65.00 for the cut, and then color to cover the grey, another 65.00 and tipping each person that did anything to you, it really adds up, especially when you need to go so often. I'm shocked how busy they actually are in this economy and trust me, I know how important it is to find a great ""hair person"" but there are plenty out there and for a lot less money. I am currently paying 185 TOTAL...thats highlights, covering the grey, cut...then I add a tip... Love my experience at Muse and if the prices were better, I'd still be there. If price isn't a problem, then please try Jillian and Lissie. Great girls! more

I had been a loyal client of a hair salon in Buckhead for over 10 years but decided I wanted to make a change to a friendlier, local salon. After thoroughly reading so many rave reviews about Muse I decided to give them a try. I have been to the salon 6 or 7 times and have been completely impressed with the service and skill of Amy who gives my long layers a beautiful blow-out each time. She has recommended several treatments for my hair which has restored the shine and health to my long locks. Try Amy, you will not be disappointed and she could not be sweeter. more

Tara cut and colored my hair and I must say that it is the most fantastic service that I have ever received. I have never had a hair cut that looked so good, and the color is perfect! Not to mention that she is quite devoted to customer service and carefully listening to what her clients wants and needs for their hair are. I would recommend Tara highly to anyone looking for a new stylist, she is fabulous!! REALLY!!!! more

I am new to the area and am trying to get reviews on different salons. I come to city search and find Muse. I then find that the last several reviews are about Tara Brooks and nobody else's names are mentioned. One of the entries is even by someone with the screen name ""TB101"" which sounds to me like tara brooks' initials. i just find this funny, because it is more than obvious that this stylist has been reviewing herself and/or requesting friends/family to do this for her. While i am all about getting your name out there, i do find this to be dishonest. I think if the salon was truly being accurately reviewed, several other stylists would be mentioned as well. totally bogus if you ask me. more

I would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to go to Muse Salon and Spa!! I have been going for a few years now and just love the amazing treatment you get! The main reason I love it so much is because Tara Brooks does an amazing job at hair. She has colored, cut, blow dyed, styled, and even did my hair for my wedding! I absolutely loved all of her work!!! She is the best and knows all the latest styles!! If you want your hair done right go see her!!!!!! more

I have been going to Muse Salon & Spa for over 2 years now. I have never had a bad experience with Tara. She is always happy and a joy to talk with. I have had Tara do extensions, cut, color and highlights, straightening treatments and several other conditioning treatments over the years and she seems to be flawless at everything she does. I would recommend Tara to anyone! Not only is she good, she is very nice. more
