The people at Mr Transmission were really nice and helpful. I had transmission problems and the light on my dashboard was on. They did a diagnostic, and did a little bit beyond. Mr. Transmission has been great. I had a problem and was told it was a converter and the transmission, so I took it down to Mr. Transmission, and they found out what was causing it to act up. It had a couple of broken air hoses that were leaking and causing it to act up, and that was very good of them to find that. I'm very happy! They are nice, friendly people to do business with or just talk to. I recommend them highly, and I already have. more

I took my car to Mr. Transmission after being told by another place that it needed a new transmission. Mr. Transmission checked the car thoroughly and came to find that I didn't need a transmission after all. They asked if I wanted them to go further and drop it and check it, and I said yes, so they did that. They determined that I really didn't need a new transmission. They then asked if I wanted them to change the filter, and I said they might as well as the already had it ready. They did find a crack on a motor mount, so I had them fix that too. Mr. Transmission was great! I didn't have transportation there and back, but once I dropped my car off they brought me back home, then picked me up when it was finished. They asked if they could take it for a long test drive to check it out, which I said was fine, and after driving about 18 miles everything seemed fine. I was very satisfied. more

I had to have my transmission repaired, and Mr. Transmission was very upfront and honest about everything going on at any point in time. They were very accurate in their estimate of the cost and the time frame the job would be completed in. So far everything has been good. Overall it was a very good experience. more

The center support bearing was out on my truck, so I got that replaced. I also had them do a transmission check up and put new shocks on my truck. It was my first time using them. This is my first time using Mr Transmission Crest Hill, but I have been referring people to them for 5 years because they diagnose for free, and the people are honest and pleasant to be around. I work at an auto maintenance shop probably half a block away, and I frequently recommend Mr Transmission for services we do not do cover. Over time, I got to know the people over their real well. Mr. Transmission of Crest Hill was great. I had the transmission rebuilt by them 2 or so years ago, and they did a great job. Recently I developed a leak, and I couldn't find where it was coming from. They were saying it could be from the transmission. Since I have rapport with Mr. Transmission I decided to have them take a look. They called back after looking at it and told me they had good news. It was a leak in the oil sensor unit, which was not anything major, and I needed a transmission oil change. Instead of been a rear seal, which costs over $600, it was a simple fix and only cost around $250. It was definitely good news. I talked to the owner and the front desk personnel, they were both great people to work with, very friendly and very helpful. They understood my situation. I have an older car, and I don't want to sink a lot of money into it. They were great to work with, and helped me out in a timely manner. more
