Movie Mars

So i ordered like 120$ worth of disney dvds for my daughter, and i was really impressed with myself for saving 60$ by using this company instead of amazon. after I got an email confirmation I decided to look up the company i just handed money to and became terrified based on the reviews and even went so far as to send amazon a preemptive email for a potential fraud claim. Not sure if they are slowly improving or what but they actually got my order correct. based on the clearly exaggerated amazon reviews and the loads of bad ones on here, I will probably not be using them again, but I felt that I had to at least mention that in 1 out of a million orders, it seems they do get it right. Pros: delivered on time and product was as specified. more

I ordered an exercise video from them, and they sent me a western video. It took forever to get in touch with them and then when I did they said they'd sent a return shipping label, which I still haven't received. I can't get in touch with them over the phone and so far, not so good. more

My experience is the same as the prior reviewers of this Movie Marss Inc. I would add that Buy should be on your ""Do Not Use"" list too, because they knew, or should have known that they were supporting a crook. Cons: Took my money, didn't send merchandise more

This company is a front for a Chinese company. Most of their dvds are poor quality pirated copies shipped directly from China. One reason their shipping takes so long is because their warehouse is in China, not the USA. If they do not have something in stock they will tell you that it has shipped, but what they don't say is that they have ordered the product from the Chinese factory and it can takes weeks to get to you. I don't see why Amazon allows them to use their platform to sell their goods, because this gives them an aura of respectability they don't deserve. My advice is spend more money and get the real dvd. I placed an order through Amazon with this company - MovieMars. Although they charged my credit card they never acknowledged my order, no email was ever sent nor did they ever send send order! I have repeatedly tried to communicate with them but they do not reply. If you search the internet you will find many people who are taken advantage of by MovieMars. It appears that their ""glowing reviews"" on Amazon are fake.\r \r This business should be closed down! Buyer beware! Cons: Fraud and Theft more

I ordered a DVD back on April 4th, 2009! They never sent it, I never got it, and I spend my time talking to a machine. I'm contacting the North Carolina State Attorney General's Office on this one! Pros: Lousy! No one calls you back! Cons: Real cons! more

I will never order from this company again!! Ordered a CD back in December thru amazon, when wasn't received make excuses that it was an inventory problem,and offered to re-ship, it is now April and still have not received have emailed company 3 additional times and they stated they would re-send the item ordered (that was in Feb.) and I still have not received. This company does not send products once purchased through ebay or amazon. They will be happy to take your money for the order, feed you false excuses about inventory, tell you its shipped, and soon its 2 months and you have no refund or your order. Cons: Everything more

Ordered a movie for my daughter's birthday. A month later, still no movie & the birthday had come & gone. Tried to call customer service 704-821-3654 but no one EVER answers or returns messages you leave. Tried to contact them via email & the only reply I received was automated. After filing a claim through Amazon about not receiving what I paid for, they finally called me. They said I could not receive a refund until the movie was missing for 30 days & then they could begin the refund process. No apologies or explaination. They did offer to re-ship the movie (even though they could not give me my $ back they could send me out new one? Does that make any sense?). Why would I assume I would receive it this time when they couldn't get it to me the first time? So I guess I have to wait another couple of days to begin the refund process, that should be fun if it ever happens.\r DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ORDERING FROM MOVIEMARS! Pros: Orginal price was good, but doesn't help if you never receive what you paid for. Cons: Never received the product. Serious issues here. more

I ordered a movie through Amazon and they sent it but forgot to put my apartment number on it. My Multiple attempts to contact them have been fruitless once they realized it was their mistake. NO PHONE NUMBER ANYWHERE ON WEB.... WHY???? \r I still have not received my christmas gift for my girl friend. I would not buy from them again.
