Prices are high, service is more than willing to get you in, but they won't give you any idea of a price. If repair falls under Yam Ext Service Plan, you pay a diagnostic fee, but...

I am writing a letter to express my appreciation for a service job well done on my 92 Ducati 900ss. I have recently gotten back from serving in the US Army and while stationed down in the Southeastern part of the country. This particular bike has been to no more than three different Ducati dealerships and one independent mechanic in an attempt to get it to run properly and it has been a complete failure every time. I brought the bike to your facility in Lakeville, MN and because it has an aftermarket Ignitech ignition installed on it, it was suggested that your employee Dough Loughgren, (at your Minneapolis) facility look at the bike to see what issues were causing the problems. It took almost no time for Doug to diagnose the problem, keep me informed and fix it without any hassle to me whatsoever. I am so impressed that I will be bringing my race bike to Doug for him to tune as well. I will also be spreading the word. Thank you again. more

It was a good experience. The salesman we spoke with was respectfull and answered all of our questions. We came hoping to test drive a new triumph and my wife and I were each able to do that. This will definitely affect our future buying decisions and we will most likely return to Moto Primo to make that purchase. more

This is to call your attention to the extraordinary conviction to customer service on the part of your sales person, Dan Prey. I knew I was going to buy from your dealership as soon as I met this young man on the showroom floor. From the beginning, his focus was fully on understanding my needs and motivations for considering purchasing a motorcycle. After settling on the make and model, and visiting Motoprimo two more times to make sure of the details, some mechanical related issues of the VTX1300 surfaced. That was when Dan stepped in and promised to resolve every possible concern. Dan was good to his word. It took some time but he didn't falter in making sure every possible issue and concern was fully addressed by your service department. He then personally delivered the VTX to my house. Exceptional performance, I'm sure you agree. more

Motoprimo (Lakeville)\r Just returned from a disappointing trip to Motoprimo. I bought two new Ducati Monsters from Motoprimo. When it came time for 7500 mile service I called two weeks in advance to make an appointment at 9 A.M. when the service department opened. So I wouldnt have to battle morning traffic I drove down the night before and stayed in a hotel, got there before the service department opened and checked the bikes in on time. Left Motoprimo looking for something to fill my time.\r Called in at 2. P.M. to get an E.T.A. and was told the bikes were'nt even on lift yet and was told there was no way they were going to get done today, i explained my efforts to get the bikes there, how they had dropped the ball and told them I would pick my bikes up. Two minutes later I received a call from the service manager Rob Goeman, he was no help either. I called back and left a message for the general manager, Jim Manslin. Jim called me back and said he was mad as hell with his service guys and service manager and they would get a chewing out but other than a sympathetic ear, he was no help.\r So after planning two weeks in advance, two nights in hotels, two tanks of gas driving to and from Duluth and countless wasted hours I still have the same dilemma, I need to service my Ducatis.\r Stopped at Leos South looking at Apprilas. more

lots of warranty repair, dealer handled it well 8/18/2011

I just wanted to say that after going through a lot of warranty work on a brand new bike with motoprimo, they do work very hard to get things resolved appropriately. i ended up with a cracked cyclinder at 1000 miles(repaired under warranty) and at 1300 miles i had a valve keeper break(due to part malfunction). while the whole process took longer than i was hoping, between motoprimo and triumph, the issues were taken care of to my liking. the service manager was great to work with as well. more
