Playing a musical instrument is a uniquely personal experience that allows you to share your individuality with others. Whether you play alone in your room, in a coliseum, in a church or in a punk band, your voice on your instrument is unique. Our professional instructors will help you find and develop that voice. Here at Moe's Music, we offer instruction on most instruments, including guitar, bass, drums, flute, clarinet, sax, trumpet, trombone, violin, viola, cello, piano and voice offering lessons 6 days a week. All lessons are usually 30 minute lessons; new students will pay a one time Registration Fee of $20.00, and after that, single lessons cost $25.00. The best deal is buying by the month, where the lessons go down to $21.00 per lesson ($84.00 most months). Vocal lessons are one hour lessons, and they cost $30.00 each. Students pay their teachers with checks or cash, and scheduling lessons is simply a matter of calling or visiting Moe's Music, as there is no lesson contract required.
Moe's has been in the repair business since day one in 1988, and we can repair just about anything our customers bring in to us. For band instruments, we provide a free estimate and our technicians include a 30 day warranty on the work performed, and turnaround time is generally 1 to 2 weeks. Guitar repairs, string changes and drum repairs get an estimate when the instrument is received and most work is finished in 1 to 3 days. Bowed string instruments, including bridge replacement, restringing or replacing strings or fine tuners usually take 1 or 2 days, and bow re-hairing can take a few days. Electronic repairs vary widely in their expense and duration, but our amp technician can fix just about anything. Band and Orchestral Instruments
In addition to renting band instruments, Moe's Music is a dealer for band and orchestral products by Conn-Selmer. Brand names include Artley, Conn, Emerson, Holton, LeBlanc, Selmer, Bach, Glaesel, and Lewis. We also specialize in used band and orchestral instruments, and you never can tell what you might find in our store.
Guitars and Amplifiers It's fair to say that Moe's Music is a guitar store most of all. Electric brands we generally carry include Jackson, Cort, Jay Turser, Silvertone, Recording King guitars, Greg Bennett designed Samick guitars and AXL. Our acoustic lines also include Samick, Seagull, Crafter, Johnson, Baby Taylor, Jay Turser. Once again, we generally have a varying selection of fine used guitars, both acoustic, electric and bass.
Amp wise, we are dealers for Kustom, Traynor, Roland, VHT, AXL and others, and you never can tell what you might find at Moe's!
