The people at Mode really care about what they do, and spend time getting to know each client. The atmosphere is so positive, relaxing, and uplifting. My stylist Crystal is always so cheerful and delivers an amazing cut and color every time. She'll know exactly what I am thinking and turn it into reality! I recently started having facials with Christine and her techniques plus the organic Eminence product line is doing wonders for my skin! I really feel like I've found a salon that is made for me- if you care about being beautiful in a healthy way- this place is for you! more

Christine Wood is a waxing goddess! 9/21/2011

I will never see anyone else for my waxing. I have found perfection in Christine Wood. She is highly skilled in her craft, practiced in her talents and knowledgeable in her products. She makes my brows perfect every time. And takes excellent care of those sensitive lady areas...always professional, never awkward, super fast, and as painless as that sort of waxing can be. Best cut of my life! 9/15/2011

I'm 38 with somewhat unruly, graying hair. I've had good cuts before, in my 20's, but they were always pretty high maintenance. I'm a busy mom & don't have time for that these days. Crystal listened to what I wanted, sized up my hair, and went to work. I walked out of the salon feeling like a new woman - no exaggeration. When I posted a photo on my Facebook page, just to see what people thought, I received about 50 raving compliments (and it's not like I have hundreds of FB friends). My cut is that good. What perfect timing for me, since I'm newly divorced & a little validation doesn't hurt. :-) Don't hesitate to call & book an appointment with the delightful & talented Crystal. more

Lived up to its reputation 9/14/2011

Have had two haircuts and color and feel very pleased. Was worried about the organic color process covering my grey (this gives away my age) but it was fine. It's non-stinging and pleasantly fruit smelling. Both cuts by Crystal were short, chic and held their shape--just what I asked for. Staff is pleasant and gracious. I'll be back more

I have been a customer at Mode for many years and love the pleasant environment, organic products and most of all high quality service. In the last couple of years, my stylist has been Selina. She's very talented, intuitive and has an amazing sense of beauty and elegance. She gives very sensitive advice on cut and colors and makes me look the best possible way. more

Aside from my relationship with Kerry, who gives me the perfect cut, and whom I look forward to seeing every month, I so appreciate the tone you've set -- I've had to cancel twice in the last two weeks, and you were so very nice about it--wouldn't let me pay extra. Love Affair with Mode 8/28/2011

The staff at Mode is always extremely friendly and welcoming, taking your coat when you come int he door and making you a hot cup of tea. I've been seeing Amelia for about a year now and have never had anything but the best treatment and absolutely fabulous hair with enjoyable conversation the whole way through. As an upscale salon, the services are a bit pricey, but the superior organic products used and service provided are well worth the cost. more

Joe is a natural and understands each individual hair and what will look good on them. I always recommend him and have never been disappointed as he is always willing to listen and make changes if asked. I recommend Mode Hair as a place that is easy, relaxing and accommodating and you will walk out with a great look that is just for you. more

Terrible updo! 8/24/2011

I sat through two hours of having my hair pulled and "curled" here for the most terrible updo ever! My hair is easy to curl too - it's not fine or anything. Would not recommend going here. Don't waste your time and money!! more

I have been going to Christine at Mode Organic Downtown for facials, reiki sessions, eyelash tints, and waxing for a couple of years now, and she is simply amazing! I walk out feeling like I'm floating on cloud 9 and my skin is always glowing. If you're stressed out, a half-hour reiki session followed by an hour facial is the solution!! more
