Mitchell's Hair Styling

Long story short, I am new to town, I got my hair cut at another place (I will not mention the name) and it was hands down the worst hair cut I've ever gotten! I went to crabtree mall literally looking for any salon that seemed credible. I went into Mitchell's because the named reminded me of Paul Mitchell, though I do not believe there's any connection. A woman named Carlee took me as a walk-in. She totally listened to everything I had to say i.e. how upset I was about my current hair cut, and what I hoped for from my new cut. She did a phenomenal job with my hair. I am headed there again for hair cut tonight. I'm sorry the person above had such a mediocre experience with this salon, I can only speak from my own experience; I was very pleased =)! more

I just went to this salon to try it out. I get a halo coloring, which means just the top portion of my head. Pricing for this service is very fair- $60, but what they fail to tell you is that if you would like your hair washed and blown dry, it will be another $28!!!!!!!!! Then I was charged a misc. $10. I was so pissed when I was charged $103.00 for a partial charged I just paid it and walked out. I will never go here again! Esp. when I can go to a TOP salon that includes blow dry for $85. So, if all you want is color and to walk out of the mall with wet hair, then this is worth it. more

My hair was so boring before I went to Mitchell's. Straight, maybe a little bit of layers, no highlights. I never really believed the expensive salons could do anything for it. I was wrong! A couple of my friends with great hair suggested I see a certain stylist who shall remain nameless (it's already tough to get an appointment sometimes!). I was appalled at how much it cost (about $150 for cut and highlights) but it was worth every last cent. I feel like a completely different person. And I always feel like I could be a hair model when I leave. more

I have a male friend who always goes to this mitchells to get his hair cut. For a while he was working out of the state for a few months, he still would come to town to get his hair cut and styled at this salon. They do excellent work, especially for male clients. i have serval friends who go here, and all of them seem to really enjoy it. more
