Minado Restaurant

I've been to many other buffets (such as Todai), but Minado beats them all. I know what you're probably thinking: ""Those places never have good food,"" or ""I bet they only have maki sushi and nigiri made with with giant balls of rice."" Well, the food is actually very tasty, and no giant rice balls. You can even have sashimi, which is excellent. Of course you can have sushi, and there is an endless array of nigiri, handrolls, and maki -- there must have been 40 different types of maki alone. They have tons of non-sushi choices too (both hot and cold), including one of my favorites: snow crab legs. They even have ice cream and other desserts too. What a deal. I'm definitely going back. Nowhere else around Boston can you find such tasty food at such a great price. Think about it - every time you go for good sushi, don't you end up spending $30+? At Minado, for less than $30, you can have ALL the sushi, sashimi, HAND ROLLS (the best deal), and maki you want, PLUS hibachi (japanese stir fy grill), delicious salads, crab legs, and a wide array of hot foods (teriyaki chicken, crabcakes, fried shrimp, beef, noodles...the list doesn't end there). They also made a recent addition of ICE CREAM, not to mention their tasty cakes and fresh fruit desserts. I would highly recommend this place for large gatherings (we had a birthday party there, it was great! they sing for you and take a nice little polaroid of the group), as well as for casual lunches and dinners.
