We went to Miel last night to dine. It had some pluses and some minuses but we would go back and recommend to friends. We were seated promptly and our server was quickly over to us. She was personable however also professional which I like. SHe was knowledgeable about the dishes, the wines, and the beers. We started with the artisanal cheese plate. I think this would be better for a party of 4 rather then 2. It was almost too much cheese. Maybe there could be a 1/2 portion with a smaller price tag? My husband's pork dish was extremely tough and not a lot of flavor.it was also 16oz which is mammoth proportion. My osso bucco was excellent with the polenta and greens. We had to leave before finding out about desserts because of a movie we were trying to make. I like the use of local ingredients and the relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. I would encourage them to reconsider mammoth pieces of meat like the pork. Also, it seemed like there was a lot of staff that just kind of circled the room but didn't actually look to see if my water needed refilling, which at one point it did.
Pros: wine, beer list, atmosphere, osso bucco
Cons: oversize undercooked portions, staff doing a lot of circling
