Since they are headquartered in Columbus, this store gets an especially good selection of close-out bargains, too. Their prices on Apple computers can't be beat. I have been shopping at Microcenter for several years now for stuff I need right away. The selection is really good. These guys consistantly (to me on more than one occasion) pull the infamous ""bait and switch."" Even the store manager is in on the gig. He actually laughed at me when I asked about a deal they just published and advertised that they were out of stock. They always seem to advertise a good deal, only to be out of stock EVERYTIME. They only seem to have adware-laden el-cheepos or the more expensive re-furbs (Also sold with adware pre-installed). Do yourself a favor and only use these guys in a pinch or shop at reputable places like the Apple store or Dell dot com. Pros: location Cons: management treats you like a number more

I have been trying to pick up a MacBook pro at this location, their sales reps are shoddy at best. They told me they had none of the models I was interested in. I found the computer I wanted, listed in their closeouts. So I purchased it, thinking I just bought a compter, I printed out all necessary documents. I went to pick it up today, I come to find that it ""wasnt in stock"" and ""not at that location"" when that is where the website said it was. They did not charge my card, however the computer is listed on the website as for sale. Plus the past 10 times I have called, the line is busy. That's not the way to run a buisiness. I won't be going back again. more

I am completely disatisfied with the HP2910 laptop that I purchased at the Micro Center on Bethel Rd. in Septmeber of 2008. I purchased a Silver Warranty believing that there was extened coverage of this product. I have come to find out that neither software nor hardware are covered by same. The Micro Center staff and management which was very fawning at time of sale did not stand behind the product for repairs. I would suggest that you ask extensive questions and get written answers from the Micro Center staff. Verbal assurances are worthless. I will continue to pursue this matter with the ownership of Micro Center until there is satisfaction. Be warned. more
