Good selection, unfriendly staff 9/11/2005

My mother and I went into Michael's to look for a tree that they had on sale. They had a great selection of trees. We finally found the one we wanted and checked out. The lady at the cash register was too busy gossiping with another coworker to say one word to us. The whole time we were checking out she was talking to the other lady and wouldn't even look at us. In my opinion, as a customer, she was very rude. I will go back to Michael's but hopefully will never have to deal with that cashier again. PROS: good selection CONS: rude staff members more

What crafter doesn't love this store? 8/2/2005

Although this is not the closest Michael's to my home I find myself here often. It is very well located and easy to get to with lots of parking. There are many other stores in this area that make it a great place to get all of your business done. PROS: Lots of variety for a lot of crafts. CONS: more

Hard to shop 8/2/2005

I like the store but I also dont. They are always so busy and there doesnt seem to be enough employees, on the floor or register. They have good deals especially in the sunday paper, 40% off any one item in store. I think some of their prices are a little high. more

I will never step foot in this Michaels again....the cashier couldn't make the proper change and got snotty with me and told me "just take all the money out of my drawer I don't care"...why have cash registers that tell you how much change to give a customer if your not going to use it......It dosen't even desire the one star rating ....its should be minus 5 more

Whether your hobby is painting, scrapbooking, sewing, knitting, crocheting woodburning or whatever else you can think of Michaels has what you need. I am a guest teacher and I buy all of my supplies at Michael's for the kids at school. The prices are average and it is a one stop shopping experience. more

Michaels Arts & Crafts Store 5/1/2005

I don't know what it is about this store, but I've never been in there when the employees were very customer friendly. I don't know if they're underpaid and/or overworked, but they're either in a grumpy mood or don't want to be bothered helping you if you ask them a question. And another thing that bothers me is..."Why do they need to know your zip code whenever you buy anything even if you're paying cash?" That baffles me. more
