Bad Bad Bad 7/7/2010

There is a bartender Chris who is possibly the best in Town. This reflects nothing on him... Having said that, This is the one restaurant that I would not advise anyone to go to ever, ever, ever even if you were starving or eating here, starve. Wait 15 minutes for your beer, not like its a black and tan or anything oooooh that needs a clean glass and 2 pours, but a Bud Lite in a bottle, wow, really? 15 minutes. Food is avg at best, poor for Columbia Standards, and Better than Second Chance which is where you'd go to get talked down to and mugged as you leave. Never-The-Less, Chris rocks, sadly tho he does not make up for the bad food, DIRTY bathrooms, maybe not the guys - but to sit is to catch something, and Terrible service of his fellow employees. Pros: Chris Cons: Everything else more

terrible service 7/6/2010

If you aren't a “friend” Michael’s bartenders ignore you. My husband tonight was trying to get a beer for over 15 minutes while we were sitting at the bar at 6pm so it wasn't even busy.....and yet he was ignored. I have been a patron of this Pub for over 12 years and this bar has never tried to be friendly by even getting to know my name...and now this? Michael’s Pub has mediocre food and very expensive drinks....unless you are a personal friend of the bartenders (who give you a free drink so they can drink with the customers). It’s no wonder we were ignored…when we walked in at 5pm all of the bartenders were drinking a “mind eraser” so I am sure they were feeling a little numb and didn’t realize we WANTED a drink. No more for me! more
