This Poway store has good selection of craft materials, not as large as the Carmel Mountain store but nevertheless its more than adequate for all I need. more

This store has a wide selection of craft items, art supplies, scrapbooking supplies etc. It is a little chaotic inside as it feels like they have tried to cram more items in than they really have space for. But, you can usually find what you need...and more! Look out for coupons in the local newspapers or online. They also take coupons from JoAnns too. more

Old Fashioned look old fashioned quality 7/2/2005

Michaels is the best plcae to go to when you need to buy supplies for a school project or just anything that needs to be refinished at home. I go to Michaels for help when I don't know what I need to complete a project. The employees always know what to do. more

Michaels has all your arts and craft needs and offers very low prices. This is a great place to help unleash your child's imaginiation and also work on your own personal hobbies and projects. Although certain parts of the store has bad fumes of plastic and paint, Michaels is a good place for your hobby needs. more

When ever I have a project for school I come here and get everthing i need. I love this place the prices are rock bottom and the products are top of the line. This is just one sweet store. more

Micheals is a very convenient place to go to when I need art supplies such as glue, balsa wood, and they also have cool pinatas too. I love to go there to get stuff and start neat projects. more

Wonderful place 6/8/2005

Micheals is a great place to get supplies for an art project. I usually take my kids there to get things for their school projects and sometimes for fun just to do something during the weekend. They have a large variety of arts and crafts materials, and they have some nice stuff for making things with flowers. Its basically a one stop shop to a great time with arts and crafts. more

Too old fashioned for me 5/12/2005

Micheals seems like a traditional store, with lots of really really old looking stuff. I guess the art supplies are decent, they have a lot of stuff that any craft enthusiast might enjoy, but I simply haven't found a use for this place. I mean, its fun to go and buy some stuff to make puppets or something, but some of the stuff is too expensive for my taste. more

Start up a project 5/10/2005

Micheals is a cool store to just goto and walk around in.. The amount of supplies for arts and crafts are amazing. I seriously didn't know that they carried 15 different sizes of foam balls for your use. I don't know how many times that I've gone there for when I have projects to do, but its a great place to find things to play with. However, I don't think it gets the credit it deserves. more

Good arts and crafts store 5/10/2005

Everytime a project comes around and it needs to be decorated nicely this is where i go to get the stuff. It has everything from colored construction paper to paints. more

The only reason i would not recommend this store is because they overprice a lot of stuff. If you are looking for art suplies though and are willing to pay perhaps more than what they are worth, this is the place to go. They have had almost all the art supplies i have ever needed. more

everytime i go here, i dread it. the prices here are expensive but it's the only local art store in town. michael's seems like a place that caters to middle to older-aged women only, which kind of puts me off. it's always got a nauseating and disturbing distinct smell. gross. more

good place for projects. 4/17/2005

Everytime I have a project to do, this is my first stop and usually, my only stop. They have everything you could ask for to do a presentation or an art project. I usually buy construction or textured paper here the color choice is amazing compared to stores like Walmart. You can also get a custom framing job for your pictures as well. Artificial plants are everywhere in the store. more
