I love Michaels Craft store--- I shop here as often as I am in the city- My local Michaels is located across from Marketplace Mall... Its in a big shopping plaza which means there are tons of other great stores around to shop at. Parking is great also- Michaels is great because they always have numerous items on sale and add their weekly coupons-- you get great prices... I always stop here on black Friday--- Michaels always has great sales- Get here early because they get packed! She who dies with the most craft supplies wins. Or at least that's what I'm told and I think this store is getting me into the winning circle. I try to limit my visits to once a month or it gets expensive...my eyes are bigger than my hands can work. They have quite a big selection of items for just about any type of art or craft you could imagine. Make sure to get the weekly coupon out of the paper for 1/2 off of any regular price item. Michael's is a popular choice for arts & craft supplies. They have four store in the Rochester area, but the Henrietta location is the one I've been to most frequently. The problem is that I somehow always seem to be looking for an unusual or odd item, and they don't carry it. I'm not sure why that happens, because they certainly have a large inventory of most every craft item you could think of. It can be a little tricky to get help from the staff sometimes too. I also had a piece framed by their framing department not too long ago. They did an excellent, very professional job but I was surprised at the cost. I haven't had anything custom-framed before, so I guess I wasn't aware of the typical price. If anyone knows of a more affordable place for custom framing, please let me know! more
