Mi Lay Cay

I've ordered from these guys several times, and it has been consistently great. The wonton soup has an incredible broth that is both subtle and full of flavor. I'm not a huge fan of their Mongolian beef, but I'm very particular about how it's made and what the sauce tastes like. Spring rolls are great, Chinese sausage fried rice is awesome, and the calamari is a reg. reorder for me. Skip the veggie tempura until they decide to up the mix of veggies used. I like my tempura crispy and with a large selection of different veggies. The house Chow Mein tastes incredible! I've never had pork liver, but I'm adventurous with food, and it works so well in that dish! Trust me! Try'em out. more

My overall experience from Mi La Cay Restaurant was extremely horrific. After waiting for two hours for my delivery to arrive, I was eager to try the dishes I ordered. I was quickly disgusted and disappointed by everything. The bbq pork was dry, overcooked, and tasted nothing like it should. There were barely any noodles in any of the dishes, and they were overcooked and mushy. Also nothing had seasoning and was extremely bland. The duck was also extremely overcooked and the skin was rock hard. The rice was also dry and flavorless. The fried wontons to my surprise had chicken in them, so my vegan fiance couldn't even eat them. They were extremely greasy and made me feel sick. The lemonade I ordered literally tasted like magnesium. After being thoroughly disgusted from tasting the food, I called to see if a refund was possible. I was met with nothing but rudeness and no hope of a refund, which was a let down seeing how expensive my meal was. I will never order from this place again. The experience left me sick and frustrated. more

I started going to Mi La Cay many years ago. This is one of my favorite restaurants to have noodle soup. I especially love a deep fried shrimp in the special noodle soup. Egg noodles in soup with your choice of toppings are the highlight of this small, ramily run place at the corner of Dearborn and Rainier. Service is extremely rushed. You will be asked what your order is before you have even opened up your menu. Take your time and tell the waitress to come back. Noodles also come in other varieties such as lo mein, chow mein, and chow fun. But stick to the noodle soups as this is the restaurant's clear strength. Pros: noodle soups, good value more
