I am meeting a friend at a bar in Waldo, and I know there's going to be little chance that I'll be able to drive home safely. No Problem! I just walk over to 10th and Main and hop on the next Waldo-bound bus provided by the Kansas City Area Transit Authority(KCATA).
I can get to any part of the urban core on the bus, and I love taking it. I can sit quietly, listen to music, read, or just look at the city. It gets me outside for some much needed natural exercise, and most importantly, it gets me out of my car.
It's a win-win.
