Sal at McCarthy Automotive is just amazing. Was rear ended and involved in a hit and run collision. The person who hit me took off. I have never been in a collision therefore I did not know the steps to take. Luckily, thanks to the internet I found mccarthy automotive and saw all the great reviews. I called and Sal (the owner) immediately captivated me by his knowledge. He knew everything there is to know about how to work with the insurance companies as well as how to take care of me. He told me to bring my car in and he would take good care of me. Took my car in and was amazed at what great customer service was provided. Sal was with me every step of the way. My car was repaired within very little time and looked better than ever. Thank you Sal you made me feel so important. Highly recommended. Excellent communication skills and customer service. more

had some mechanical problems( not a car type of guy) i went on google and yahoo saw great reviews for mccarthy automotive and i decided to just trust them to the fullest. took my car in on 11/11/11 thank god they were open even though it was veterans day and I had my car looked at. i met with sal and he is the owner. great great guy. very honest and trustworthy. a lot of people are worried where to take their vehicle well take it to mccarthy automotive. he took care of me like no other has before. he was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what probelms i had. didnt have work that day so i decided to wait. their waiting room is really relaxing and very comfortable as well as clean. i really like their decor. after a couple of hours ( didnt mind being there because they had free wifi so i worked on my laptop and had comfortable chairs) my car came out and we went on a test drive. it felt wonderful. sal really worked wonders and i know that i now have a new mechanic for life! thanks sal! more

With all the competition and false advertising out there it is very difficult to choose a legitimate repair facility. Many of them claim a lot of different statements that never turn out to be true. Thankfully I found Sal before I was ripped off and scammed. McCarthy Automotive made my car drive better than ever before. If it wasn't for Sal I would have probably spent a ton of money elsewhere. I am not the type to leave reviews but my experience was so great that I had to. Thank a bunch Sal! more

Like the previous reviewer said it is so hard to find a honest repair shops, so I am so happy to write that I found Sal at McCarthy Automotive in Burbank. My sister took her car there and after telling me how little she paid for a her brakes I was willing to give them a try. I took my aging car there, first I was realy impressed by how clean his shop was then I go in to his spotless office with a beautiful, compfortable and cozy waiting room, nice music with a little water fountain that realy calmed me down and I was able to get alot of my work done on the computer with their complimentary free WiFi while they fixed my brakes for a great price. We own a couple of other cars and after getting outrageous quotes from other auto repair shops right down the street, Sal not only almost cut the quote it in half, but told me I did not need all the work they were suggesting. It is not often that a mechanic tells you that you don't need a part fixed on your car. Sal is honest and very good repairs! Two thumbs up from me and more if I had more, we still have an extended warranty on my other cars but Sal said they work with extended warranty companies so I don't have to deal with it and I'll be bringing my other cars to him as well, Thank you Sal and his guys! more
