Despite the fact that Richard Rosenthal has opened a restaurant right next to Max Amore's called ""Max Fish"", I still often prefer to go to Max Amore's for a business lunch because the fish specials are awesome. The fish is fresh, well prepared, and the presentation is very good. I am not as crazy about the rest of the menu but if you love fish, you probably will not be disappointed. There is often a nice, not run of the mill filet on the menu - trout, snapper, mahi mahi, etc. Many are ""pan seared"" and crispy. Yum. And the prices are reasonable. The service is always very good. The waiters are courteous and will go out of their way to please.
Pros: Great fish entrees and specials. Good service.
Cons: Would't rave about a lot else on the menu, but it's always serviceable.
