I didn't think it was going to do anything for me... 7/17/2011

Boy was I wrong! Matthew succeeded in somehow draining every iota of stress out of my body. What an experience ... I don't have the words to describe the technical aspects of how Matthew invoked his craft - but: all I know is that I AM GOING BACK! I found the secret to relief stress and the name is Matthew Kirsch! more

Effective, Compassionate Healing Sessions 3/3/2011

As an energy healer, I have searched for years for an acupuncturist and cranial sacral therapist who is able to apply a gentle touch and yet get deep results. With Matt, I found a practitioner who really listens to the client’s individual needs and who customizes the session work for optimal results in the shortest number of visits. His soothing cranial sacral work and acupressure is performed after needles are gently applied, or you can opt not to have needles at all and just enjoy the slow relaxing bodywork that truly melts all tension. I’ve seen him for neck pain resulting from an old whiplash injury and only needed one session for complete relief. Also, recently, I had laryngitis and terrible cough that simply would not go away. I tried everything. Matt was able to reduce the cough by 90% during the first treatment and relieve the bronchial irritations after a few sessions completely. Whether you have a chronic health issue or just want to reduce stress and prevent illness, a session with Matt will leave you smiling and feeling wonderful for weeks after the experience. more

Go see Matt 8/15/2010

I have worked with several acupuncturists over the years and Matt stands out. Way out. I came in struggling with TMJ, carpal tunnel pain and poor digestion. I enjoyed results after the very first session, and every session since. Matt customizes his work to his client and is a rare listener. The fact that he stays in the room during the session made me feel as if he was an active part of my healing. Matt is a healer and that is apparent from the first minute. I enjoy that Matt blends acupuncture with acupressure and cranio-sacral work. He is also knowledgeable about nutrition. Matt will take time to get to know you and investigate the source of your complaint. I have recommended him with confidence to my clients, family, friends and co-workers. Matt, thank you for the quality of work you do. Liz Coffee, LMT Licensed Massage Therapist Massage By Liz more

The Healing Touch that's Powerpacked with Results 6/11/2010

Matthew uses very unique techniques, not solely needles, to treat the root cause of health problems. He has changed my life forever by providing me with the resolution of tinnitus, or ringing in the ears. I am so thankful to have found Mathew because my alternatives were taking medication for the rest of my life, or going through surgery, and frankly these are not options for me. They are extremely costly and the side effects are worse than the problem itself! I had been to other Acupuncturists with no change, but keeping an open mind I knew I would find an alternative. Matthew is my alternative and I will be a life long patient. more

Best Acupuncture Plus Much More 4/8/2010

Matt has a lot of knowledge about acupuncture and craniosacral work, as well as some of the other alternative health tools. He seems to always know just what is needed! His manner is outstanding, and I say this, with much experience with other health practitioners. Matt has helped me with several problems. One was a big digestive problem I had after receiving antibiotics for a surgery. I think the acupuncture needle placement helped, and Matt explained the way Chinese Medicine sees digestion; this ended up helping me a lot in my food choices as I healed. Matt's perspective includes Chinese Medicine, raw foods, and, as he reminds me every time I see him...joy! When I had a swollen gland that the surgeon told me would need to be looked at if it didn't go down, I went to Matt. Matt set the needles, and then he massaged that area in several different ways. He worked really hard to help me. That swelling was gone in 2 days! I have referred a very timid friend to Matt, as I know that he can introduce the acupuncture needles to anyone and give them a good experience. Although I don't want to repeat what Emilie S. said, I will say again that Matt does various kinds of massage and ""bodywork"" while the needles are in; and this makes the acupuncture experience about a million times better than when the practitioner leaves you alone to stare at the ceiling for 20 minutes. Matt helped me through a difficult illness, mentally and physically, and I continue to visit him approximately monthly because he helps my body and boosts my spirit! Pros: Matt does bodywork on you while the needles are in. Cons: In some locations, a needle may hurt for a few minutes. more

I would travel to see Matt! 2/25/2010

I will list all the reasons why I love to see Matt. If the list is too long to read just know that everything I have to say is positive and I highly recommend him to my mom, my dad, my husband, my best friends...everybody! I love to see Matt because: He is gentle, he cares and he really takes time to listen, he talks to you like a close friend, he is professional, he is very knowledgeable, he know more than just acupuncture and he will use all his skills to make sure you get better and you get the right care, he stays in the room with you while you are covered with needles and he will keep working on your body (normally they leave you in the room alone and you have no idea for how long you have to ""wait"", so basically the session is simply to have needles in and needles out), Matt has a firm touch, you don't need to guide him much since you feel like he is doing everything right touching the right spot, he will answer your questions (I communicate by email with him) throughly which makes him very approachable and available, he is genuine, he is the reincarnation of peace and calm, he knows how to make you feel comfortable, he is healthy and he works out (you can care for others only if you take a good care of yourself) , he is a KEEPER!!! I have years of experience with health care specialists like chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, osteopaths, physiotherapists, etc. I never met someone like Matt. I've been using his service for nearly a year and I would travel far to see him if he had to move... Thank you Matt! Pros: Every single positive thing Cons: You can not bring his hands back home to use them as pillows more

Matthew Kirsch is Awesome!!\r I first started seeing him over 1 1/2 years ago. I went for cranial sacral work to help with my inner ear/balance issues. We soon added acupuncture to the sessions. I have been amazed by the significant results that I get from light touch techniques. I see him on a regular basis and have never felt so good. Matt is calming, soft spoken, gentle, and has a big heart. He is very gifted. Pros: Knowledgeable, Talented, Price more

Healing and gentle touch 12/21/2009

I had scratched my eye with my contact and I was in such pain. Even looking at dim light was painful. I needed immediate help so I went to Matthew Kirsch. He has a combination of acupunture and craniosacral practice which really helps you sink into a deep relaxation(that is where the real healing begins). After one session, I was able to open my eye without any pain. I am very grateful to him because he showed true concern, patients, and a gentle touch. If you are looking for someone who really listens to your needs, then see this wonderful acupunturist. He can help you will so many medical needs. I am very grateful that Westlake has him. Amazing Results! 12/4/2009

I made an appoiintment with Matthew Kirsch for chronic neck pain related to my work which I have had for many years. Many things make it better, none make it totally go away - until my session with Matthew. Matthew Kirsch has a very unique and effective approach to his work combined with a calm and caring personality. My neck pain truly and totally went away and I can't express what an amazing feeling that is. Whether you are new to acupuncture, like me, and want someone you will be very comfortable working with, or a veteran simply looking for the best, I strongly recommend Matthew Kirsch. Also, the Westlake office is very comfortable, nicely appointed, and the location is very convenient with plentiful parking. (Matthew also has an office in Round Rock.) Pros: highly skilled, healing environment, great location Cons: None! more

Apprehensive about Acupuncture - Try Matt Kirsch - He's great 10/27/2006

Matt Kirsch is a terrific acupuncturist and his craniosacral work is amazing!\r I have a tendonitis in my thumb called de Quervain's and I have tried a cortizone shot, but that didn't work. My husband suggested acupuncture, so I researched and found Matthew Kirsch. I studied his website and decided to give him a try. First of all, With his soft voice and strong handshake, I knew at once I was in good hands. He is kind and gentle and made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I could open up and tell him all my physical and even mental/emotional issues and he listened and then used that information to find the sources of my problems. Now I go regularly, not only for my tendonitis, but for the help he has given me in all areas. I feel that he really gets in tune with my body and allows it to tell him where I need healing. I can see that he is passionate about what he does and this makes a big difference in the effectiveness of the treatment. He is attentive to the needs of the patient. If you want to try acupuncture, but are apprehensive about it, Matt is your answer. Now my husband and I are going in for sessions. I feel that it is so much better than massage, especially in the long run, and it is cheaper! ($75 for 90 minutes). Matt definately gives you your money's worth. more

Very skilled and intuitive! 8/18/2006

I really appreciate the way Matt took the time to ask questions in order to get to know me and my situation. He is very skilled and sensitive. You can tell he has a great deal of respect for his discipline and concern for his clients. This was my first experience with acupuncture but it certainly won't be my last. Every time I hear a friend talk about a condition or ailment I want to send them straight to Matt. I highly recommend Windows to the Sky. Pros: took the time to answer questions, showed a great deal of concern more

Magical, Miricle Hands 8/18/2006

I went to see Mathew Kirsch because I was experiencing back pain, trouble sleeping at night and shoulder and hip discomfort. Mathew had a very calming patient /doctor relationship with me. He took special effort in learning about my history with pain and the symptoms I was having. During my first secession with him he used the acupuncture along with body massage to work on my trouble areas. I was amazed at how it felt! There was no pain at all, and his hands were truly magical in making me feel transformed. Trust me on this! It was amazing! My pain is gone now and I am sleeping much better. I have been to see Mathew several times. Each time I have had a different area of concern and he has helped me each time to alleviate the area I was having trouble with. I highly recommend Mathew to anyone who is having pain or discomfort in any area of your body. You will not be disappointed. more

A healer and a friend 7/20/2006

Exceptional skill!! Matthew is talented, intuitive and committed to finding health for each and every little thing I bring to him. He listens and understands from a level of confident expertise I feel most comfortable trusting. I first met Matt in the student clinic while he was finishing his licensing. And as a fellow yogi our paths have been crossing ever since. I trust that you will find your answers in a nurturing and caring environment. Pros: Exceptional skill! Your window to health and welbeing. Convenient, easy to find. more

Excellent-truly intuative and talented work 7/15/2006

I followed Matt from when he was a student at the Academy of Oriental Medicine where he was a popular student practioner. I could simply mention some pain and he would instinctively know exactly where to needle or massage. As a Chronic Pain sufferer I've found acupuncture and craniosacral work to help keep the pain under control. I've been a pharmacist for over 20 years and yet also believe in Eastern Medicine and the help it offers. Matt's 90 minute session is a perfect amount of time to do an excellent treatment and he uses the time well. Pros: effective, intuitive treatments, nice 90 minute sessions Cons: parking can be tricky more
