Mastropietro and Associates Family Medicine

If you were anxiously waiting to hear the results of important CT scans and blood tests, would you want to be ignored by an irresponsible nurse? Jolie, Dr. Ling's nurse, called yesterday and left a message regarding the results of these important tests. When I heard it in the evening, I called the office, but it was closed. I stayed up most of the night thinking of worse case scenarios like most of us do in situations like this. First thing this morning, I called and left Jolie a message. I called again around noon and spoke with her personally. She mentioned she was at the front desk and couldn't turn around to get the record, but she'd return my call around 2pm. Around 5:10pm, I called again to hear she has left the office at 3pm. Are those the actions of a responsible person? I understand she was busy attending to patients in the office, but it's hard to believe she couldn't spare 5 minutes, or even less, to call with the results like she mentioned. I work at a medical facility too, and this would not be acceptable or tolerated at my office. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because of Dr. Ling. He's a good doctor, but I don't know if I could put up with his staff's negligence and carelessness. more

I have been a patient here since 1990. I have no vendetta against these doctors and it pains me to have to do this. Their behavior has shown me they do not care to rectify their mistakes to preserve good patient relations. I have seen many doctors here, From Chapman, Hafiz to Mastropietro. Dr. Ling is the best one of all and my primary reason for not leaving and finding another doctor. Mastropietro & Associates was sold sometime in the late 90`s to Lancaster Regional Medical Center. From that point on the quality of service has gone to an all new low. If you are sick on Monday, you may not get to see the doctor until Friday. Results are not delivered in a timely manner. Billing is a joke. They rather send you a bill than go through the trouble of submitting it to your insurance. Just today I had an appointment with my son, which I scheduled a week ahead. They proceed to call me minutes before my appointment to cancel and reschedule. My son needed meds so I asked if they could just call it in. Dr. Acharya flat out refused. And I had to leave. I would not have cared except, to get to the doctor I used a cab, which cost me $20. With the exception of Dr. Ling, these doctors have absolutely no heart. I have a family of over 15 people and we pay cash and have insurance. But the medical establishment feels more like, you need them. THEY DON'T NEED YOU. And neither does Mastropietro and associates. more

I have been a patient of Dr. Ling for about 7 or 8 years. Dr. Ling has always treated me with excellent care. He would and still does take time to speak to me about all my concerns. I trust Dr. Ling very much. To me Dr. Ling is an excellent family Doctor. If I would ever need to speak to Dr. Ling personally over the phone, He would always call me back. Dr. Ling is this way with all his patients. He is a very caring and respectful Doctor. I highly recommend him. Thank you Dr. Ling. Charles Lewis more

I have had a terrible experience with firm. They never call you back with test results. Messages on the prescription line go unanswered. Once, I actually had to call them back 4 separate times to correct mistakes to prescriptions called in. Dr. Ling finally gave me his beeper number so that I could contact him directly for test results. Unfortunately, he never calls you back. Cons: Too many to list here more

I have been a patient of Dr. Mastropietro and Associates for many years. I felt a need to respond because of a negative posting I saw on this site. I have had nothing but great care there! I have always felt the employees there to be pleasant, very caring and very helpful. I esspecially feel as though since about 2 years ago with their new manager the office has been running a lot more organized and efficient. I feel if you are unable to work as a team and step with initiative I can see being a nurse there would be very difficult due to the fact it is a very busy place. I congratulate all the nurses there because they all really do seem to take the extra mile to help their patients. Dr. Mastropietro is a great doctor! My relatives go there and they love his genuine caring personality. I would recommend anyone who needs a doctor to go there. Pros: Alot of parking, nice clean office more

I am not a patient nor have I ever been but I would like to say something about the staff. The providers are excellent and most of the nurses and front office are too. There are a couple of grimey people who need to get a life and stop being the office managers pet. I use to work there and if I could change things, I would change a lot of things. There is no care in the facility what so ever or to the patients. CPMG only cares about money! Patients complain all the time about the office but are too afraid to say anything. There are patients that have left or will be leaving because of one specific person. I will just leave it at that. more

Dr. Mastropietro is the best family doctor I have ever had in my life. I started seeing him after an accident in 1998 at work. I developed R.S.D. which is hard to treat but Dr. Mastropietro was there for me in every way possible as well as being a doctor he was also concerned about my condition like a family member would be. With his doctoring I was able to have a great treatment plan set forth and I accredit his knowledge in saving my leg when other doctors talked about amputating my left leg. I f I could I would still have him as my family doctor but I had to move to Virginia. He is the best family doctor I have had the blessings to help me when I drastically needed the help. Pros: HIs new office is incredible and easy to park and get to compared to the old one. more
