Massage Envy

Wow - we waited 3 days for an appointment with a specific therapist. I gave my credit card info and arranged my schedule. The manager, Rachel, just called (2.5 hours before my appointment tonight) to inform me she gave it to someone else! Since I was not a "member" we got bumped! "So sorry but that is our policy- they can cancel on YOU up to 1 hour before; you can cancel on them up to 24 hours before!" (I was planning on becoming a member if we had a good experience but did not want to sign up without trying it first!) This was a "bait and switch" marketing program and poor business practice! Do you really want to hear a strong sales pitch each time you pick up the phone to make an appointment? Too bad, the location was so convenient and I had high hopes!! more

never try to cancel on them, even if you are very sick and need to go to the ER. They will charge you and will remember this for life. They will claim that they notifed you when you call to cancel even if they didn't. Pros: non Cons: bad customer service more

I went for a massage a couple weeks back. The front was pleasant, and the massage was everything I needed. Chuck was able to fix up my shoulders without hurting me. He was considerate and polite. Wonderful. =D Pros: Skillful experienced therapists Cons: Books up too quickly more

I had an excellant massage experience. The front desk staff was pleasant when I arrived. My therapist was on time and prepared to do the type of massage I had requested. The massage met my needs exactly, and the cost was very reasonable for the service I received. Overall, I would highly recommend. more

I'm a massage junkie - and since I'm used to paying $100 and up for a decent deep tissue/triggerpoint massage, I was skeptical about Massage Envy. A massage for $39? A *good* theraputic massage no less? Well, I was impressed. My therapist was as skilled and professional as any I've encountered. I had no problems with the management, or my credit card and was generally happy with the experience. My visit to the Parker store was a delight. The front desk staff was well mannered and and attentive. My therapist Rianne was professional and warm. My massage was a delicious. Pros: atmosphere and friendly staff Cons: they book up so quickly more

I made an appointment, called canceled the appointment & was given the 5th degree about why so I asked to speak to the manager to complain she said she was the manager, so then I asked to speak to her manager she said "thats not going to happen" don't go very very rude. This is a GREAT deal! Only $39 for an introductory massage for 1 hour! Friendly, very "spa-like" and great massage. The hours are really great too! I loved this!! more
