Maskol, Terrence L, Dvm - Dundalk Animal Hospital

I have been taking my pets 1 dog 5 cats to Dundalk Animal Hospital for 15 years and have seen both great and not so good. Taken as a whole this is a good practice that tries to service the greatest number of pets in order to keep prices down. My best experience was with my German Shepherd who developed cancer. Dr Foster operated on her and gave us another 5 years with her. At 12 she developed a spinal inflammation and again Dr. Foster knew exactly what to do; she got steroid injections once a month. I asked Dr. Foster how long this would work and he told me I would know when it was time to let her go. She lasted another 11 months; giving us time to accept the inevitable. Dr. Foster told me to bring her in whenever it was time and he would be there. I let my good girl go on a Thursday and Dr. Foster was not on schedule but he came and did this last service for me and my Roxanne. The receptionist took care of all the billing and paperwork first and I can’t explain how thoughtful this was until you try to imagine paying a bill and filling out paperwork when you just lost you best friend. Dr. Foster explained everything he did from the shot that relaxed her to the one that stopped her heart. After all the years that Dr. Foster has been a Veterinarian he was choked up while we were waiting for her to go. Just a thought; maybe he doesn’t hang around because it’s hard on him too? and he has to go back to work. It’s not always great and very often crowded sometimes you get forgotten on hold, but there’s a reason it’s so busy and it’s not just the lower cost. more

Dr. Maskol is absolutely the BEST vet I've ever seen. He is more than compassionate, he actually remembers all of his clients and their pets. You can make appointments to see him. As far as I know, he is the own doc that you can make an appointment to see ahead of time. Of course, this isn't to say that he won't see you if you don't have an appointment, but you may have to wait a little while because he is so GOOD! more

So far, so good. Much cheaper then Eastern, where you pay for the building, not the care. Very gentle with our senior beagle. I like the walk in hours. more

Dr. Forster has always been very sympathetic, competent, and efficient in the 10+ years I have been taking my dogs to Dundalk Animal Hospital. Their fees are exceptionally reasonable and when we finally had to put one of our dogs to sleep, Dr. Foster actually had tears in his eyes. I would never take my pets anywhere else! more

Great!: The boarding facility is good. They have allowed me to see it and the dogs and cats have plenty of room and they are let out 3 rtimes a day and are fed twice. They came home to me nice and clean. more

I board my pets frequently at Dundalk Animal Hospital. They exercise them 3 to 4 times daily. When I pick them up they are always clean. I never have a problem. I recommend Dundalk Animal Hospital for boarding. more

Dr. Foster, Dr. Maskol and Dr. Costello have all shown great kindness and compassion during all my pets stays and visits. My pets are like my children and I always have many questions and concerns which have always been addressed in a very kind and courteous manner. Over the past 20 plus years I have had many pets pass through the doors of Dundalk Animal Hospital and we have all been very satisfied customers! more

I have been taking my animals here for many years.What I really like about their service is you can just walk right in with no appointment. First come first serve basis. Every vet I have encountered there has been friendly. Also you get to stay with your pet during exam. They will answer any questions pertainning to your pet without feeling your being rushed out the door. Also I have checked other vets prices, Dundalk Animal Hospital seems to be the best. more

Wonderful! I used to take my pets to Eastern Animal Hosptial, but after being told that I was a ""irresponsible pet mom"" for my dog having an ear infection, I vowed never to go there again. I tried Dundalk out, and I love them. Dr. Foster is one of the most compassionate vets out there. Yes, he is older and he can be quiet which sometimes can translate into him being brash, but he REALLY does care for animals. Last year, our family dog became ill and he did everything in his power to save her. He, with the help of surgery at Hunt Valley Animal Hospital, gave our Sammie a good 6 months more of life. When it was time to put her down in September, Dr. Foster was the one we took her to. I love this place and recommend everyone I know to it. more

BEST VET IN BALTIMORE ! Dr. Foster has been our vet for 30 years, He has always diagnosed our pets problems very efficiently and treated them with great success, He is very sympathetic to the pets and to our financial restraints. On the other hand we do not wait until our pet is near death and expect to get free treatment. All our friends, relatives, and neighbours recommend him also. No one that I know has had any complaints, only praise. more

Dr Foster is the greatest vet in the world!! I have had 7 dogs in my life and I have taken them ALL to Dr Foster. I have been going to Dundalk Animal Hospital for over 20 years now and have never had one bad experience. Dr. Foster put down my golden retriever a few years back and he couldn't have been kinder. He actually got a little bit choked up when I kissed her after it it was over. I've also seen Dr Maskol on several occassions (when Dr Foster was unavailable) and he is also top notch. I highly recommend both Dr. Foster and Dr. Maskol. more

Dundalk Animal Hospital treated our dog for 7 years. I have had nothing but good experiences with them. When our dog became ill, we were having severe financial difficulties. The staff worked out a way to work with us so we could have her seen and put down mercifully, and pay later. She passed the day we were scheduled to have her put to sleep, so we didn't go through that experience at the hospital. Over those 7 years, she was boarded while we went on vacation, and she seemed happy and well cared for when we picked her up. more

Worst vet in Baltimore. First finical hard ship in 13 years and DR. foster is willing to let my dog die. My dog hasn't ate nor drank since Wednesday and today is Saturday. Wont see us till I get paid next week. My mom has taken 4 cats and I taken 3 dogs there. Pretty sad he is willing to let a pet die. I was told he would call me back and waited for three days for him to call. He never did I had to call him on Saturday. I did see another vet that was willing to help me out. I understand there are people that rip you off but after being the family vet for 13 years its really sad. I will post this review every where I can on the net to let people know he isn't a family vet he is out for the money. This will also be posted on every telephone pole in Dundalk in the next couple of weeks. Pros: none even after 13 years Cons: He is out for the money not the well being of your pet. more
