Not much integrity expected from someone who declared bankruptcy in NJ in 1991 (Lou), in NJ in 1992 (Nina), in FL in 2005 (Nina), in NJ in 2008 (Marzilli Construction). Sure, MCI gets to be an ongoing concern, but all of the subs he allegedly has so much respect for will get paid pennies on the dollar...if at all. If he's doing that to his subs, imagine how he's padding the bills to the homeowners? more

Just thought I'd share another point of view...there are different kinds of bankrupcy. One is where you continue in business with the NJ courts approval. The main purpose for this is to still stay in business, repay companies/venders/subs that are owed money, and work through tough times to get back on top. Marzilli Construction has been in business a long time and has great relationships with many previous clients and subs. Louis Marzilli is a man with integrity and builds all his projects the same way. The only thing he is guilty of is putting ALL he had into his business to try to keep it going...fyi he is still doing that. I hope he will continue to be blessed with as much work as the company can handle. I am excited to see the new projects and designs; each one only gets better. People wrote reviews and had some bad information. Marzilli does not own a home on the bay in Ocean City, check your facts...Marzilli Construction has a proud and established history. Reorganizing and doing the proper corrections in these economic times. Pros: creates a great product, great designs, builds a great house more

Declared bankruptcy 2/2/10 leaving millions of dollars unpaid to his creditors, including suppliers, sub contractors, homeowners with unfinished projects, homeowners with $100k+ outstanding warranty claims and more. He walks away, paying pennies on the dollar while enjoying his lovely homes in Ocean City, Hammonton and Florida. This guy should be in jail. And what exactly is Police case #09-77461 State of New Jersey vs Lou Marzilli all about???
