Brides, please beware. Mary's Bridal is passing off knockoff designer made gowns as ""handmade"" designs made by Mary. I tried on a dress that was ""one of Mary's designs"" later ...

Today’s experience at Mary’s was wonderful! I went to another bridal shop earlier today and was told to “grab a consultant” after I pulled my own gown. My experience at Mary’s was completely different. Mary (the lead designer) introduced me when I entered to the store and assisted me throughout the entire appointment. She pulled20dresses that fit my body type and had design solutions to fit my body flaws. I truly appreciated Mary’s attention to detail and honestly throughout my appointment today. more

Found the perfect prom dress! 6/22/2010

Our experience at Mary’s has been wonderful. As a mother, we always want the best for our daughters when it comes to getting that special dress. Mary helped pick our the perfect prom dress for our daughter. The experience was easy and enjoyable and we will definitely go back to Mary’s when we need that special dress. Our daughter looked beautiful in her prom dress and she was thrilled! Thank you!! more

No one compares to Mary's! 6/12/2010

I never dreamed that shopping for my wedding gown would come this easy. I have been to many other bridal shops and none compare to Mary's designer boutique. There were hundreds of dresses to choose from. My consultant knew exactly what kind of dress that would fit my taste and my style. She pulled several gowns for me to try on and the first dress I tried on was perfect for me I fell in love. This boutique is very relaxing and I recommend this bridal boutique to any bride who wants to feel like a special bride! more

I got my dress from Mary's bridal and I love it! When I first went there I thought they were a little snobby at first but I think they warmed up to me when they realized I was serious about buying a dress. My dress was custom made and fit like a glove. more

Well worth it... 6/10/2010

Mary's was the first place I went to try on wedding dresses. Like some of the other reviewers, I thought it was a little strange to fill out the wedding survey but I didn't know any better at the time (I didn't do that at any other boutique). Penny helped me find dresses and she was absolutely wonderful. I didn't even deal with Mary until much later. I felt a little pressure to buy the dress then and there but I held out and went other places to comparison shop. I decided to get "the dress" from Mary's after all. They did go over my budget but I think it was well worth it. All my fittings went well and the dress and veil were perfect. Everyone, especially the groom, complimented me on my gorgeous dress. It is really simple and classic. Even my photographer said it was the most beautiful dress he had photographed all season. All in all I had a good experience. more

Absolutely Breathtaking!!! 6/10/2010

Absolutely breathtaking is how I and many other's described my wedding dress that I purchased at Mary's. There were so many beautiful dresses that you may feel like it's overwhelming....however, when you try on the perfect dress you will know that your search is over. For me, that was the very first dress I tried on. Mary's was very accomodating with my fittings and even squeezed me in for an extra fitting when I decided to change the length of my shoes. For any bride who truely wants to look and feel beautiful....you will not be disappointed. Though it's a bit on the high end it is worth every penny....my husband complimented me over and over on my dress as did many others. I was sad to put my dress away but am sure that one of my sister's will be asking me for it in the near future...that's how beautiful it is! To me, the dress was very important because it is the one day that I got to look and feel like a real live princess and I wanted to make sure that I did....You will not be disappointed with one of Mary's dresses. more

Helped me have the perfect wedding! 6/1/2010

I found out about Mary's from the Knot Website. I was having a hard time finding the dress that I wanted for my wedding. I called them on the phone and they said they would be able to help me find the dress for me. As soon as I walked into the shop I knew they would have my dress. Dorothy knew exactly what I wanted, the service here is wonderful!! The first dress I tried on ended up being the one. The other associates were so friendly and welcoming, I am so happy I found a shop like Mary's. I just got back from my honeymoon and couldn't be happier with everything, Thank you Mary's for helping me have the perfect wedding! more

You will not be disappointed... 6/1/2010

Mary met with me personally to figure out the perfect dress for me. She was right on with the design and made the gown for me to fit my figure. I was an older bride with a mature body and let me tell you, Mary made me look like I was in my 30's again with a 24 inch waist (although my waistline is much larger!). Mary is direct, decisive, and eminently qualified to dress you and make you look better than you have ever in your lifetime. Go with Mary's Designer Bridal boutique -- you will not be disappointed. more

Impossible to go anywere else!! 5/30/2010

My initial visit was on May 25th. Mary’s Boutique was the first bridal shop my daughter and I visited. The gowns are beautiful!! Penni provided simply wonderful service. This would be an extremely long, as well as difficult decision. Mary’s Designer Boutique’s selection and customer service made it impossible to go anywhere else… My daughter has her wedding gown!! more

I found my dream gown! 5/30/2010

My mom and I stopped by Mary’s in January while my fiancé and step-dad were sailing. We had been to Mary’s previously, and purchased two gorgeous gowns for my step-brother’s wedding. Mary sat us down and we discussed what kind of gown I was interested in. I had no idea! She suggested a beautiful strapless, A-Line gown decorated with lace and diamonds. It was the perfect dress! That day, we fitted the dress and found the jewelry to match, plus a lovely veil. Over the next few months, we had the final fittings and addressed any changes. the staff and Mary were always friendly and helpful. I am very pleased with my experience here, and I know I found my dream gown there. more

It is clear that Mary’s Bridal Boutique in Annapolis, MD is an exceptional establishment. Their significant selection of unique, modish dresses initially caught my attention. Last September I attended my good friend’s alteration appointment. I was immediately impresses with the detail, quality, color, and individuality of her dress. As a result, I returned this past May for my own wedding dress. According to my discussion with the store consultant about what I wanted to look and feel like on my wedding day, I was provided with several beautiful dresses of which to try. I quickly found the perfect match for my personality. Mary, the owner and designer of the boutique, stated that I had found “a dress that reveals understated elegance.” we all hugged each other, and feted our success. I recommend Mary’s Bridal Boutique to anyone who wants a rewarding dress shopping experience; ultimately finding your own perfect dress. more

After shopping around at many different stores, we happened upon Mary's. Our first time in, we were cheerfully greeted and helped. With the help of Liberty, our decision was a quick one. A perfect choice of color and selection was a wonderful match for our daughter's pageant. Fittings were an ease of mind and all of our requests were answered!! Special sequins were sewn to enhance special made straps. What a beautiful job on the finished product! Thank you so much Liberty for all your input and efforts to make this a very special occasion!? more

Thanks to Mary’s Bridal, I received more compliments on my wedding day than my whole entire life. The entire experience was first class. From the moment you walk in, you are treated like royalty.
