Brides, please beware. Mary's Bridal is passing off knockoff designer made gowns as ""handmade"" designs made by Mary. I tried on a dress that was ""one of Mary's designs"" later ...

One Stop Shop ! 10/1/2010

My daughter and I had a fabulous experience at Mary’s Bridal Salon. We bought the wedding gown, headpiece & veil. We like everything so much we returned (after shopping at other salons) to purchase my dress, shoes & jewelry. Mary’s was truly a one stop place that suited all our needs! Thanks! more

It fit perfect to a "T" 9/22/2010

Mary has made my daughter’s pre-wedding experience so enjoyable, elegant & pain free. Her expertise as an artist of wedding gowns is incredible. They made my daughter, Heather feel like SHE was the only bride they were fitting. All the nervousness that Heather & I (Mother) was gone shortly after entering Mary’s. Her staff knew EVERYTHING about making Heather’s day the most special day of her life. Amazingly as it sounds, the very first dress Mary chose for Heather, which was an original creation of Mary’s, was breathtaking and positively HEATHER. Being married at the US Naval Academy on November 8, 2008, Mary insured us that the designs of the gown captured designs prominent in the USNA Chapel. We are so thrilled that she could make our Heather’s day so fabulous. Having to fly in from Florida for Heather’s first fitting, we again were flabbergasted that the fit was exactly perfect to a “T.” Mary does it all- gown for a queen, shoes, jewelry-you name it. She is an amazingly talented woman & an asset to Annapolis! My daughter is very fortunate to have come to Mary! more

They made the perfect dress for me 9/9/2010

The first time I came to Mary’s, I began trying on wedding dress after wedding dress. Mary was keeping her eye on me and eventually came over and asked, “would you like me to show you your wedding dress?” The second I put it on, I knew it was my dress. I loved it more and more at each fitting. When my wedding day arrived and I got to see all the pieces come together - the dress, the veil, the jewelry, and the shoes (all of which Mary selected to ensure everything complemented the dress). I felt like I looked perfect. It was exactly what I envisioned. My friends we’re even calling me “Wedding Day Barbie!” In addition, Mary helped my mother select a beautiful dress that she felt comfortable in. The Bridesmaids dresses were adorable, particularly the maternity dress. When we all came together we made quite an attractive bunch! Thank you Mary, Lisa, Dorothy, and Blanca, for making me the perfect dress and for making my wedding beautiful! more

I'm so excited to see my completed dress! 9/9/2010

Mary was very informative on helping me determine the best dress for my body type. She was helpful in making the necessary changes/alterations to the dress. Natasha was extremely friendly and helpful in helping choosing the right dress. Mary’s was overall a great experience and it was comforting to know that the possibilities were endless to find “the dress”. I’m so excited to see my dress when its complete! more

Got so many compliments on my dress 8/23/2010

It has been four month’s since my wedding and I am still getting compliments on my dress! To be accurate, most compliments are that I was a beautiful bride, which I know was Mary’s goal from the beginning. It’s not all about “the dress,” it’s about making the bride look her best. Well, it worked. But people still really like the dress too! And thank you for making my mom and my sister comfortable, and for bringing out their most confident, beautiful selves. They were gorgeous as were all of the bridesmaids. Thank you of course for solving Erica’s dress emergency, when her original was locked int eh New Haven tailor’s store. She was sure she wasn’t going to have a dress at all but you guys saved the day! more

Mary's was my first and last stop 8/23/2010

When I started the process of looking for my wedding dress thought it would be long and possibly arduous. Because of the excellent service, Mary’s was my first and last stop. Not only did I find my dream gown, but the quality of service was outstanding. I would highly recommend Mary’s to any bride who is looking for the perfect dress. At Mary’s I not only looked like a princess, but I was treated like one! more

Mary has a wonderful eye to make the most of any figure 8/19/2010

My daughter Betsy found her wedding gown here this past November. I spoke to Mary about altering a dress I’d worn to Betsy’s brother’s wedding. I finally brought my dress and two friends in today. Mary was very tactful and agreed with everyone else that I should start anew. I thought I wanted short but ended up with long in a very flattering silhouette - actually look shapely and a bit slimmer! I HATE shopping but this was relatively painless and not as expensive as I’d thought. My daughter found Mary’s Designer Bridal Boutique - I don’t know how, but I’m glad she did. Mary has wonderful designs and a wonderful eye to make the most of any figure. more

The entire process flowed smoothly 8/17/2010

Mary made the entire process of choosing the right dress flow smoothly. She is able to listen to the wishes and concerns of the bride and on the second visit we had the “perfect” dress and first fitting completed. Also found and fitted the dress for the Mother of the Bride. more

The staff wants whats best for the brides 8/17/2010

I was extremely hesitant for a bridal gown. I’m not fan of shopping. Mary’s staff brought me through the appropriate channels and had me work through what I really wanted. With the words and knowledge they applied to me and my preferences… I was able to find my dress of my dreams in 3 dresses. The staff wants what’s best for you and your day. more

Mary's was a God-send for a bride with a vision of her perfect wedding gown. The shop is beautiful. The staff is courteous. The dresses are AMAZING! They actually listened to what I wanted, instead of bringing me every dress in the store to try on. If you haven't found your perfect gown, I guarantee that Mary's has it waiting for you! more

Mary's is a busy little boutique, so I usually had to wait at least 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. However, their knowledge and skills were worth the wait. They have beautiful dresses, and their alterations staff was excellent. more
