Best Garage in Seattle 4/15/2007

After previously being told at another garage in Ballard that I needed $900 of repair on my front and rear brakes, I took my car to Marqueen for a FREE estimate. Most places I called required at least $30 for a brake check. The owner told me my brakes were fine for at least several more months. A month later I took the company car in b/c a stick was stuck under the car in a hard to reach spot. He got that out as well as rigged up a loose cord underneath for FREE, even after I offered to pay him for his time. Finally I was able to compensate him for all of his work last week when I took my car in to have the muffler replaced, as well as my front brakes (which by the way was only a fraction of what the other garage quoted me). Excellent and fast service. Highly recommended! more

Another Positive Experience 5/31/2006

Although I am an accomplished business woman, when it comes to having my car repaired, I feel so vulnerable. However, I have not experienced that feeling since having Marqueen Garage do my repairs. They say what they will do and do what they say--no surprises. Their prices are very competitive (even if they were higher, I would pay the premium). They definitely have earned my trust and I will be a repeat customer. more

fast, honest, fair AND nice. they recently told my friend that her car was fixed and charged very little because they didn't have to do much. her car had problems the next day so she went back and they discovered a bigger problem they missed the first time. they fixed it at no charge because "they already sent her home with a fixed car so why should she have to pay again?"!! more

fast, honest, fair AND nice 5/17/2005

we've had several experiences with the marqueen garage and all of them have been surprisingly positive. they seem to be able to repair/tune up any sort of car (but i don't think they do body work) and do it quickly. and these people do NOT rip you off. my friend had a broken timing belt and they told her that the belt may have caused valves to blow, that they'd check into it. the next day they called and said "you're in luck, it was just the belt!" and that was it, car was ready. and they are perfectly nice to deal with, too. located at the top of queen anne next to 5 spot. more
