I had an upper blepharoplasty, a chin implant and some facial fat transfer done in August of 2012 with Dr. Robert. One of my friends recommended him because she heard so much about them, so I came in. His reputation is fabulous. He and I are really pleased with my results. I'm just surprised even more with what I've seen than what I've heard. Dr. Robert is fabulous. He listens to you and he asks if you're happy with the procedures. I never had any pain whatsoever. Just a little bit of discomfort and little swelling here and there and some bruises. During the follow up and they are all concerned. They treat you very, very nice, and I'm coming back again for another procedure to add a little bit more. Dr. Robert makes you very comfortable and he is always concerned. He knows exactly what he is doing even if you don’t mention to him what you want, he will point it out to you before you even say it. I wasn't at all concerned with what people would say at work. It took about two weeks for the swelling and bruising to go down but I was at work after a week. I had a little bruising on the chin but that’s it. I just told people I fell off the steps and hit my chin and everyone believed me. Nobody knows I had plastic surgery. I’m very happy but I want a little more fat because I think I lost too much weight before the surgery and my body doesn't seem to hold too much fat. No one else sees this but still I talked to Dr. Robert about adding more without going too far. Everybody tells me, you're perfect. You do not need anything. I’d give Dr. Robert 10 out of 10. It’s an amazing group of people and I'm pleased that I chose the right person to do my surgery. more

Three weeks ago, I had my neck done with Dr. Mark Glasgold. I was referred to him and one other. I met with both of them and I chose Dr. Mark. I would describe him as knowledgeable and professional. He has a very organized office. I'm very happy. My favorite part is I got rid of like 18 chins and tons of fat off my neck. I look younger and I feel more confident. I look better. It looks really good and there was only like one day of downtime. more

I love the comfort level and knowledge and mannerisms of the Glasgold family practice. Dr. Robert performed my Facelift and I could tell that he’s very up-to-date and concerned about what you want. He’s easy to talk to and gives you several options so you’re comfortable. The Facelift was done perfectly to contour my face back to the way it was and it’s much nicer to look in the mirror now. Everyone is terrific, the entire practice. The first doctor's office I've been to was everyone is caring just from the minute you walk. It's you feel like you're getting a hug because you're nervous when you come in for something this is initially how it feels. If you are nervous coming in for the first time before you have the surgery, they are very comforting. It’s very normal for you to worry about how other people may look at you. Not in this office. Before and after surgery and from the minute you walk in until you leave everyone just makes you feel terrific. If you're considering a Rhinoplasty, don't wait. I waited because I was nervous about doing it, number one. Number two, I kind of felt like by doing it, I was admitting to myself that I wasn't happy with the way I looked, and I am making that I’m making that statement to other people. That was the dumbest for me to think. I'm so glad I had it done, and I wish I had done it years earlier. I guess it was the confidence to do it and the confidence to change myself and change my appearance. I would tell anyone who is considering it to do it, at least to consult with Dr. Alvin Glasgold. It will change your life. more

I had a Facelift, Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty and Fat Transfers. I've been seeing Dr. Glasgold for many years. He is very thorough, very caring, and explains the procedures and processes. He is very personable. Not knowing what to expect, obviously, having never had any of those procedures before, they thoroughly explained what the process was, what it involved, how the healing process would most likely take place. Everything was as explained. They were very in thorough in their approach. There was very little that surprised me. The next day, I was feeling well enough to be up and about and then by the end of the week, aside from normal bruising and stuff, I was pretty much back into the world, so everything was wonderful. Another one of my friends who is also going up for other procedures, Botox and Restylane also had a Facelift, and she started going because of me. I have nothing but good to say. more

Dr. Robert Glasgold did a Fat Transfer to my face probably like eight months to a year ago. I was motivated to get this procedure done because I’m getting older and I was interested in just a more youthful look and I trust Dr. Glasgold, so I came here to ask about it. I've just known of their reputation and I know people that have had procedures done and I trusted that and I like Dr. Robert, so I felt comfortable with what he said during the consultation. The staff was really accurate to say what the recovery period was going to be & what the preparation should be like. Most importantly, what the expectation should be on the other side. I thought it was important that they set my expectations the right way and then the staff was always really helpful about, you know, some tips on how to prepare your skin, whether it'd be taking Vitamin B or whatever it is. They always gave helpful hints on what to do and what to take. There wasn't any time where I couldn't do my daily activities except for exercising and that probably took a good two weeks, but I wasn't really comfortable going out immediately following the procedure. I waited at least a few weeks until the swelling on my face settled down. There's a lot of swelling, but once the swelling went down, I would say they set my expectations around two weeks and that was probably accurate to say that the swelling went down enough to really start seeing the results. People often say that I did something and it looks youthful. The results are very subtle. I did not want anything that looks like I had anything done. I was really conservative. And that's something that Dr. Glasgold understood and ensured for me that there was nothing that was so unbelievable of a change that it didn't look subtle. My own family does not know what I did. more

I had a fat transfer done on my eyes to fill in some of the hollowness underneath. It’s very natural looking and doesn’t look like some of the plastic surgery you see go wrong. Everything went smoothly and the healing process went extremely well. Dr. Robert Glasgold is personable and I had a connection with him so I felt comfortable asking him anything. He’s thorough and takes his time, never rushes. If anyone is ever unsure or uncomfortable about plastic surgery, your fears and anxiety can be greatly reduced with the doctors at Glasgold Group. Everyone has been super nice since I first had the consultation for an Otoplasty. They were able to get me in for surgery pretty quickly. I’ve never had any problems reaching anybody if I have to come in from follow-ups. I’m very happy with how my ears look. The procedure took longer than they expected because they had a difficult time finding the fat. The procedure was little painful but not that bad at all. I would do the surgery again. I had mentoplasty ? that?s chin surgery ? about 3 weeks ago. It was excelent all the way around. After researching the best surgeons in metro NY and NJ, I came to a decision to go with Dr. Robert Glasgold for a combination of reasons. I was down to the final 3 ? and he was up against some highly rated doctors ? but I liked the fact that he focuses particularly on the face and that he was willing to do it with a local anesthesia only, which is rare. And the price was actually a little bit of a factor as well. I liked the responsiveness of the staff and that they seemed particularly good at explaining things. Everyone from the staff to the nurses to the doctor ? they were top notch all around. They take great pride in their work, especially Dr. Glasgold. He really seems to enjoy his work and tries to do his best. You could tell he really, really knows his way around the procedure. I wanted it conservative and the results came out conservative. I had rhinoplasty and septoplasty done in March. It was a revision – the septoplasty was a revision – because it had been done before but the previous doctor wasn’t successful. I did an internet search and then I saw Dr. Glasgold’s credentials and how much experience he had… and once I met him and I saw photographs of his work in the past, I felt very confident about him. The whole process was such a positive experience. I really think he's an artist because in plastic surgery it's not just medicine. I had a mini facelift. I also had a fat transfer into my cheeks. Dr. Glasgold was amazing. He was very compassionate, made me feel safe. He was emotionally there for me and physically there for me. I had the facelift. Dr. Glasgold was very informative before surgery. It's not like a factory. Very personal, very nice. When I spoke with him, he sat down, he talked and kind of reassured you, which was good because basically I told him I don’t want to look like Joan Rivers and he said, “No, you are going to look very, very natural.” And honestly, I think I do. It was great. I have had comments made, “You look more refreshed, you don’t look drawn” or “There is something different about you”. If you don’t tell them, they don’t know. It’s just very, very natural. I would definitely recommend him to anybody that really wants to do this. more

I had Restylane with Dr. Robert Glasgold and also Botox. I’ve been doing it for four and a half years now. He’s like a friend. He’s just so comfortable. You could talk to him about anything. Anything that I’ll have a question about, I just ask him, He’s the best, he’s an artist, and that’s all that I can say because he is an artist when it comes to the face. Excellent for Restylane, excellent for anything that’s sculpturing on the face, extremely natural looking. I just look so good. I recommend him all the time to people. I have about three friends that did go and they are extremely, extremely pleased. more
